Mar 29, 2025Amazing resort , relaxing, family oriented
Very good experience, staff so friendly , hotel was mostly Canadians , few Mexicans .. no american. I think sunwing is the only big tour operator using this resort. Perfect for family with water park . Hotel was running at 60% if his capacity and night time restaurants a La carte were closing doing rotation each nights . Riu apps was very helpful and you can order whatever you want form it for your room and see schedules for activity and night shows.

Fantastic Vacation!
Enjoyed 7 days with our family. Days packed with things to do. Very clean! Extremely friendly staff!

Fantastic, we loved the resort. Food was very good, it was very clean, the pools were great, the beach very nice. Rooms and bed were very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing
First time being here and I was so pleased. Room was beautiful. Food was delicious. Resort was so clean. Pools were cold but still nice and clean. Tons of chairs outside. Staff always kind and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Tower rooms are in dire need of updating
I totally enjoyed our stay here after we were relocated to the new part. We spent the first night on the 3rd floor. The musty smell in this room was so terrible my husband couldn’t breathe and barely slept with the covers over his head. Also the bathrooms need updating ASAP. You have to step into a bath tub that is so narrow your feet slip and you can’t get a flat footing. Terrible for us seniors but not great for anyone who may slip and crack their head open. After we were moved to the new area, everything was amazing. The room was fabulous. The food was great, the staff were totally awesome, the pools and activities were fun, the facility is very clean. It’s a great resort other than dated rooms. I gave the rooms a 3 rating cause the new part is 5 and the old part is 1-2.
