    It was pleasantly relaxed stay

    Dont want to repeat what already posted before so here are few points: Be aware that hotel is not beachfront, it is about 10-15 min walk thru other hotels of Melia chain. Hotel is providing transportation in regular basis so no issues there if you are not in the rush and you should not be. Also beach has "modern" umbrellas which are not as good covering from sun as old fashioned palm covered ones. Keep in mind limited capacity of those umbrellas. AFTERALL IT DOESNT MATTER! beach is gorgeous and beach club is place to be. Big and well shaded restaurant at the beach is privilege not many can use at Bavaro beach. You can sit all day have drink to cool down or just have fantastic lunch. WE LOVED IT! Surprisingly music at resort is very nice, during the day it is relaxing, at lunch DJs at the beach or main bar doing great job, same at dinner time. Coming from ppl in their 50s :) Pool is just perfect for relaxing time, lots of foliage and cozy palapas . Some ppl from swim up suites complained about mosquitos but we had none on 2-nd floor. I want to thank staff at every level for doing excellent job! Hope we see you soon again!

    Sun and Fun

    Pools,staff,resort and our upgraded room was great. Drinks were good and flowing. The resort could use more bars for the size of the resort and the amount of pools.Found the food was good but temperature was the problem not very often was it a hot meal ( buffet being the worst ). Beach was great a little bit of a distance from our room.( they do have a shuttle). Great vacation overall but the resort does need tweaking. I sure they'll get it right the resort just opened in December 2025 got to give them a fair shake

    The resort is beautiful the staff are wonderful my only concern is the food while it was flavourful it always was cold

    Not directly on the beach

    Absolutely beautiful property. Design and layout made it feel peaceful and quiet. We stuck mostly to the buffet, which was good. Volcan served a great steak.
