April trip to Sweetgrass Inn with my wife
Wild Dunes resort met all our expectations. Everything you need is at your fingertips. We parked the car and never left the resort. Our stay was fabulous. The market place and pizza place staff were the best. I never encountered just friendly people

A bit expensive for the experience
It is a good place for family events; though they are missing activities! Not many options for food choices! The place is nice and clean but pool area needs a bit or work and some staff aren't able to answer questions. Front desk staff is nice but valet is slow!

Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals
Our family just stayed 10 days in a vacation rental booked through Wild Dunes Resort which we booked last Fall. We specifically went through Wild Dunes (paying more) for the resort amenities. About a week before arriving, we were informed Wild Dunes would no longer be managing WD vacation rentals. Amenities would still be included but all communication should be directed to the new management company. When we arrived at the gate to check in, there was no welcome packet waiting for us at the gate. We were told we would have to go contact Coral Tree Hospitality who now managed vacation rentals. We were given a contact number to text them, which I did, however they did not respond right away, so I had to try multiple times. Eventually, that evening, someone dropped off our packet with the pool bands, resort cards, etc. but in the meantime we could not use amenities our first day. Very frustrating. We tried to contact them again later in our stay for a few things with a standard text response but no answer to our issues. The hot tub at the resort was broken our entire stay. We were so looking forward to the hot tub and was unable to use unless you like to sit in luke warm water. Any attempts to communicate with the resort about the hot tub was dismissed telling us to contact Coral Tree management as we were not “staying at the resort”. This lack of communication was so frustrating. We paid extra for the resort fee and felt that we certainly did not get what we paid for and were treated like non-resort guests. So, a word of caution renting vacation rentals through Wild Dunes. Hyatt has washed their hands of them. Hopefully, once the new management company gets their act together, coordination and communication will improve.

Wouldn’t return for the price
Wanted to love this place but did not live up to expectations or the price. Rips in our sheets and bathrobe , fridge didn’t work and was never able to be fixed over our 4 night stay. Coffee in lobby was really watery and not drinkable. Nearby food options were all so overpriced and not good/minimal selection. Loved the pools and beach and drinks but wouldn’t pay these prices to stay here again and would choose a different location unfortunately

Excellent experience!
Wild Dunes resort is wonderful. The room was clean with a great view, lovely clean private beach front, excellent area to bike around, big clean pool, and good convenient food options from casual to fine dining. The location is stunning. In addition, we accidently left an important personal item behind and they have a system where they log in the lost items to see if they have it, then send you to a website to report the item, and it was sent to us within two days of making the call. Wow! We were so impressed and can't wait to visit again.
