A week in the Bahamas
Had a lovely weeks stay at the Warwick Paradise Island. The food and drink was lovely and is about a 15 min taxi ride from Nassau. The only thing we found was that we were not told about the shuttle to cabbage beach till later in the week and they didn't have any maps of nassau or paradise island. Otherwise a great stay!

Perfect vacation - clean - happy - relaxing - with lots to do if we wanted too. food was awesome.
I have travelled for many years and have never been 110% happy with EVERYTHING ABOUT MY VACATION AND WHERE I STAYED. I will be back. It's so clean and every staff member is pleasant and accommodating. The amount of pool space, the lap pool, the food was amazing everywhere we ate and location was perfect. There was always a place to be active or to relax. Met so many awesome people. Thank you for making my vacation so wonderful!! Kitty from Ohio

Nice...but not totally what we were expecting
This was our first stay at a resort that wasn't on the beach, so were looking forward to seeing what it was like, as our long-time travel agent suggested it. Upon arrival, you pull up to a gorgeous property at the Warwick. The lobby is nice and the people were friendly, helpful, and personable. There was coffee and drinks (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) out to welcome guests, which was nice. We checked into our room, and we were, unfortunately, underwhelmed. The room is very spacious--room to run around even. The bathroom, however, is not. It is excruciatingly small. The fixtures are nice, but there is not much counter space, and there is approximately 6 inches between both the sink area and the commode, and the commode and the tub/shower. Two people in the bathroom at the same time is VERY uncomfortable (unless one of the people is in the shower!). The bathroom could be bigger and the room would still be spacious. In addition, our commode was loose and the seat lid wouldn't go all the way up. The furniture in the room consists of a couch, coffee table, 3-drawer chest, a TV table with a cubby, a desk/chair, and a lounge chair. The couch and table were nice, although it would have been nice if they faced the TV (or if there was a second TV), so you weren't restricted to sitting on the bed if you wanted to watch it. The chest of drawers and the TV stand showed some wear, and is the only storage outside of the closet. Our room had a balcony and faced the harbor--great view!! Our sliding door wouldn't lock though, but we were on the 4th floor so it wasn't a big deal. There were 2 chairs and a table on the balcony. The star attractions of this property is the FOOD and the exterior areas! The food was, overall, FANTASTIC!! The buffet restaurant (the Verandah) is where we were treated to great breakfast and wonderful dinners (we didn't eat lunch much during our trip). We visited the 3 themed restaurants on the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the steak/seafood restaurant the Italian spot. The Asian restaurant was the only negative mark on the food. It was just ok. The dishes weren't seasoned very well and our server seemed to treat every one else differently. In our experience, other luxury resorts have had more themed restaurant options. The snack bar by the pool (Chickcharnie's) was good as well. The pool area is great as well. There is a very large pool with multiple areas, and a lap pool (which is rare). Lots of seating around the pools, a bar, beach volleyball, and a miniature man-made beach area on the water. The only issue out there was that the pool water was on the cool side. Normally, resort pools are kept at a temperature somewhere in the low to mid-80's. This pool was probably upper 60's to 70 degrees. This is cool for anyone who just wants to chill in the pool. It showed, as there were few people just relaxing in the water. Discussions with the staff revealed that the pools were indeed heated. After telling multiple people on multiple days, we noticed that it was about 5 degrees warmer on our last full day. My overview of the Warwick is that it is a nice hotel that falls just a little short of being a true luxury hotel, which, at the price point we paid, is what we were expecting. As I stated earlier, though, the staff was fantastic. We would like to acknowledge some of the people that made a distinct impression on us during our stay. Elly from the Buffet was Awesome!
My overall stay was great! However, Elly from the Buffet restaurant was AMAZING! She was friendly and efficient. She warmly greeted us every time with a welcoming smile. Her service was par excellence. Her attention to detail was excellent.

Great experience at Warwick with Ella in the Buffet Restaurant
This past weekend I had a phenomenal time at Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas. A group of teachers celebrated a teacher's weekend trip for Teachers Appreciation. We were extremely impressed by the services during our checking in. During our dining we had the privilege of being served by Ella, in the Buffet Restaurant. Her service was always pleasant, as she greeted everyone with a warm smile. She patiently served each person, and periodically checked in to attend to any further requests. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to international and domestic travelers. You are guaranteed, great service, great food, awesome entertainment and an overall fun time!
