    Initmate

Beautiful yet intimate. Great destination to just relax with quality service, especially for Hilton status members. Not a party destination. The guest room was immaculate, which is very important to me to be comfortable in an establishment. The view wasn't the best, however, even with the "upgrade." Zen Kitchen for breakfast was nice. Thank you, Eric. We even noticed a staff member sanitizing a table after a couple changed tables (even though they didn't touch anything) - awesome! Definitely recommend the pastry basket - great quality pastries. The breakfast burrito looked unassuming but it was packed with flavor! Enjoyed the experience.

    Perfection.

Very luxurious. Their attention to detail was top notch. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and professional. The room was very clean and housekeeping was incredible. The location is perfect. We will certainly stay at the Waldorf Astoria when we return to Las Vegas.

We loved it when it was Mandarin Oriental and think it's pretty great as Waldorf Astoria, too

Our last stay was six years ago, when it was still Mandarin Oriental. It was our favorite Vegas hotel, but after the changeover to Waldorf Astoria, we noticed the significantly negative reviews and stayed elsewhere until now. We're glad we gave it another try; the property as Waldorf Astoria still has many wonderful things going for it. At the very top of the list: the location. Since our 2018 stay here, we've opted for the Four Seasons and Wynn... but neither of them can beat the ease of getting from Waldorf Astoria to just about anywhere and back. I love the pool experience here more than at the other places, too... especially by the adult pool, it's a calm, lovely way to spend an afternoon. It seems like it wouldn't be a big deal, but: I like checking in when you walk in the door. While it's true that, back in the MO days, checking in on the 20th (I think it was the 20th? Wherever it was...) floor made for a dramatic experience--with incredible Strip views as the backdrop--it was also kind of a pain (three elevator trips from door to room). Today, you enter the beautifully redone lobby and get checked in/to your room faster. And where check-in used to be is now the gorgeous Peacock Lounge, with the same wonderful views. Las Vegas hotels take a beating and I was kind of expecting for what had been a luxurious Mandarin Oriental room six years ago to be worn out today. It was not; it was spacious, clean, and in good shape. I did notice that they haven't quite changed over some of MO's decorative touches (cherry blossom prints, dark wood closet doors) that could stand to be refreshed. (Waldorf Astoria's motif seems to be light, airy, modern, and teal... based on what's in the lobby and the lounge). So there's a bit of a disconnect there, but it's hardly a deal-breaker. As was the case with MO, we found the WA service to be 5-star. We stayed for five nights (usually four nights in Vegas is our max) and we were happy we did so. It remains a favorite of ours.

    Oasis in Vegas

Loved this hotel! We were there for a weekend for my husband’s birthday. The service was excellent - lots of communication, prompt service, and staff was just all around helpful. At checkin, we were immediately offered several items to celebrate his birthday (champagne, cake or chocolates). Room was nice, as were restaurant and pool. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was great and we also enjoyed afternoon tea. There was bottled water at pool, gym and in room - much appreciated in Vegas. Loved this was a quiet hotel with no casino, no long walk to get to your room. Very close walk to Aria, Cosmo and Park. We will be back!

Lack of dining option for a 5 star hotel

The rooms of this hotel start from the 3rd floor up to the 22nd floor. The 23rd floor is where their afternoon tea. Then any floors above it are condos with separate entrance and elevators. No access from the hotel. Great non casino hotel but lack of dining option. Not sure if this is a trademark of Waldorf Astoria hotel or not. We were in Waldorf Astoria Berlin in December 2024 and the same thing. No other dining option other than one hotel restaurant and a room service. The breakfast in this hotel is from a menu... enough items to choose from and they were good. Also, there's so called a to go option for coffee and croissants/pastries but after all the croissants are gone (which are not that many to begin with), they are closed. Thus they are open daily perhaps only for a couple of hours??? Please buy or order more croissants and/or other pastries for your hotel guests who do not want to dine in your restaurant. It's the Waldorf Astoria hotel! Did not check out the pool, gym, nor the spa. Room is spacious with all electronic drapes like typical upscale Vegas hotels. There's a valet closet which is a nice gesture, thus if you request for something, you do not need to open the room or wait in the room, they can just leave them inside the cabinet. The afternoon tea is quite nice but unfortunately the regular place (with better views) is under construction while we're there in March 2025. Location is just across the bridge (on the same side of the street) from an upscale mall called Crystals mall which is adjacent to Aria casino and hotel. This hotel is also connected to Vdara (non casino hotel) and Cosmopolitan hotels. You can also take a free monorail to Bellagio from Aria hotel. Overall, the location and service is good as expected from a 5 star hotel. Just wish to have more dining options.
