Mar 11, 2025Beautiful Stay in Waikiki
We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable. All of the staff are very friendly, helpful and customer service oriented. It’s located right across the street from the beach and within a short walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The rooftop infinity pool has a great view of the ocean. They serve drinks and food on the pool deck. Guests may also dine at their sister hotel across the street. We loved our meals and the beachfront dining there.

Our favorite hotel
We love staying at the Halepuna every time we are in Honolulu! Even though it's expensive for us, it's worth it because of the service, cleanliness, and location. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip but still close enough to walk to the main areas if we wanted to. During this stay, my wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary. Sarah greeted us warmly and checked us in. She was wonderful in establishing rapport and sharing our celebration's joy. She even provided us with a bottle of wine! She was so kind and made our stay memorable because of her warmth.

We are planning to our Honolulu trip coming up next week and will stay in Halepuna. We called the front desk and would like to make the reservation for their restaurant. However , the service desk/ concierge picked up the phone and manner was rude throughout the conversations. I’m now regret to book this hotel for our stay and it is totally not four stars hotel I would expect. Too bad I can’t cancel the booking without penalty

poor location, no private beach
no complimentary room upgrade, the room sight is so poor, and room is so tiny, not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel
