This was a very last-minute trip where I joined my sister‘s family, and I have been to the other of the island, but it was my first time to this side! Right in the center of the town of Cabarete we were in walking distance to some of the cutest little bistros and restaurants. When we pulled in, it was very misleading as the hotel is so close to the road but once you walk out of the front lobby, it’s like a whole little village existed, very private and quiet considering how close we were to the main road. I had a single room with a double bed. The room size was adequate. The bathroom was nice. We always had hot water. The rooms were clean.. Pool area was beautiful never had any issue finding chairs poolside . The entertainment staff was exceptional. Everybody was dancing all day long. We had a great time keeping the kids entertained. The beach itself was beautiful, but for me not really a swimmable snorkel type beach . It was extremely wavy two of the five days I was there the beach was closed, and swimming was not allowed. At about 4 o’clock every day it got windy and cool so if you’re picking this hotel, definitely bring a sweater or two or a cardigan !! Transfer was about an hour from the hotel to the airport in traffic! Overall we had a great time ! But if travelling in February and your a beach bum that loves to snorkel, not sure if this is the place !!

My husband and I met at this resort 6 years ago and thought it would be great to revisit. We won’t be back again. The resort is a budget resort so we did keep that in mind when booking but it has deteriorated substantially since we were last here. The rooms are clean. The staff is 50/50 friendly. Good luck getting a smile from someone when you’re trying to get a drink at the bar. The staff in fact was mocking us for asking for wine glasses to drink the wine we bought at a store outside. Completely disrespectful. The food quality is a 1/10. Terrible. Food is reheated from the day before and not fresh. Grateful for the self serve coffee counter because in 10 days not one server offered us coffee or any other drink in the restaurant. The safe in the room works sometimes, be prepared to spend an hour a day visiting the lobby to get new keys or wait in the long line at the bar. The resort feels very understaffed and the staff that are here don’t act as though as they are happy to be. The entertainment is pretty amazing. Grateful to have great restaurants and bars in walking distance because they made the trip worthwhile but taking into account the additional money spent this resort is not worth the money.

Week was good. Service was ok. Vibe team (Electric and Baby) were amazing and always high energy! Food could have been better, but drinks were always cold :)

Tangerine needs to focus on the smaller things
Electric, Uliand Baby were amazing party vibe team members. Second time to the resort and a lot of the small amenities that I was used to have changed for the worst.

Amazing time! We had a great time. It was so much fun. Candy was the best!!!!!!! Very great time and great vacation!!!!!!
