A bit dissapointing
On arrival we were only greeted at the counter and checked in. We had done 3 flights to get there and long flights I was disappointed being a member or non member that there was no welcome drink on arrival. We were told where our rooms were and we eventually found them when I walked in we were very dissapointed. The rooms are quite shabby and need an immediate upgrade. View from the room was lovely and the beach is amazing..we snorkelled from the beach the sea was so clear. The food was not up to much.. cold food most of the time, lack of vegetarian options pretty much had to eat the same thing everyday, which for 2 weeks was a little boring. The restaurants were ok..Limited menus. The bar area was not at all welcoming, just a big room with seats around the outside. The pool area was clean but the pool was cold. Alot of the staff we found did not seem happy, no smiles no talking but then we noted if you tipped them after a while they talked to you a little better. Which is not how things should be. I was annoyed by this..to get a nice service you had to tip even being a member the service wasn't there. They need to upgrade this hotel and have at least one members bar area. Also a members area round the pool would be good as when the cruises come in you can't get a seat. Felt overlooked unless you held money in your hand which when being all inclusive should not have to feel like you should tip everytime you get a drink. Would like to return to the island but only if the hotel has been given an overhaul and perhaps staff trained to be nice to everyone.

READ to the end
This is a 3 star resort!! Rooms are out dated and musty. There are a lot of cruise ships and the cruise guests take over the resort and leave. The food is ok. The beach is beautiful. Snorkeling is good off the beach. Staff are not really friendly. Only 1 bar no swim up and pool is not heated. The water was bitter cold still in January. There is solar panels so shower are often cold if it hasn't been sunny. Not a great kids club Shows were ok

Avoid!
Avoid. Cheap, crappy food. Not worth the price. Arrived at lunch and never even got to our room. Couldn't stand the thought of eating there all week. Despite having policies that charge only one night on a no-show, they charged us full price for the whole week and refused to refund any portion. Ridiculous!
