Service at every restaurant and at the pool was excellent. Staff was courteous and willing to go the extra mile. Grounds were well maintained. Cleaning staff was excellent. Cesar our butler was top shelf, his coffee service and input on local activities was excellent.

Cesar is a 10/10 butler!
We loved staying at Villa del Palmar Flamingos! Cesar was an amazing butler. He made sure we had everything we needed every morning and went above and beyond to make our mornings go perfect, like bringing us hot chocolate to mix with coffee and bringing us special bread from out of town to try. He also gave great recommendations on local restaurants and breweries.

Nov 29, 2024Good overall if going at off peak times. Airport chaos may be unavoidable
We travel to VDP resorts every year since we are members. Mostly Cabo or Loreto but this year we went back to Flamingos for the first time in a few years. If you pick the right time of year when crowds are less you will have a better time. Service was great since it was not so busy. Elevator went out one day but not for long. Food was just ok and I got severe GI distress on second day. My wife was fine but just use caution when ordering. Possible the beef carpaccio was bad. Put your towels on a lounge early if you want a place at the pool. One major issue was getting out of airport after arriving and getting luggage, the line to go through check was a mile long. Just a matter of many planes arriving at once. Service at hotel was very good. Be aware of the 15% service fee added to all food and beverage bills. This caused my tips to become low to nothing in most cases. We usually rent a car but in the future I think we may just use taxis at least in Vallarta.

It was amazing. The staff and everybody here is so awesome.
We’ve been to Villa Del Palmer for the last eight years and this year the staff was so accommodating. The team was so willing to help us and we were treated like royalty and we really really appreciate everything that they did for us. We just booked a week and a half for next year so we could spend more time with this amazing group.

Last minute vacation
Absolutely amazing service, I was treated like family. The staff are so friendly and remember who you are, they are always checking up to see if you need anything The rooms and facilities are kept in immaculate condition. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time. I will be back!
