Feb 20, 2025Another awesome cooking class
We just had a cooking class. Sala, deep fried quesada, so delicious! The cook Josa did an excellent job in cooking for us and instructing us on how to do it. Miguel was awesome at explaining it English for us, LOL Liz and Iris passed it out tk us and Iris is responsible for making things happen! Great job to all of you. We'll be back for sure! We live this place.

Building 1 does not get any direct sun. Room was damp and all my clothes remained damp the entire time. Hallways were very noisy with staff, loud talking and carts rolling by. We could not get into our room and it took an hour for maintenance to come and figure it out. Breakfast was good but super expensive at $30 for buffet. Not enough counter space in bathroom for toiletries. Shower was weird to get into. Jr suite needs a deep cleaning. Bed was ok, kind of soft. Stupid loud music at pool areas. Several people tried to sell timeshares. Double check your bill when you check out.

Great vacation, love the people and place!
All the pool personell were exceptional. Regge was a pleasure and helped us get chairs no matter when we arrived at the pool. The activities people were as always a delight. Always happy to vacation here. Easy check in and departure. Iris and hemma the elite concierge were as always very helpful.

Spa Heaven!
I wanted to recognize two employees who work at the spa on the Villa del Palmar Flamingos property. The first employee is Nahiely who works in the spa waiting area. She made sure I was comfortable while I waited for my massage service. She brought me a warm blanket, a hot wrap for my neck, cold cucumbers and a cool cloth for my eyes. I then received an unexpected scalp massage! The second employee of the spa I want to recognize is Teresa who performed my massage service. I had an 80 minute massage that was perfect. She also gave me an “add on” mini facial during the massage. I wonderful experience I would highly recommend.

Top tier spa experience!!
One of the best spa experiences I’ve had. The attention to comfort and details was extra special. I was lucky enough to get 3 different services while I was there. The therapeutic massage was incredible and the vitamin c facial was fantastic.
