    Great super friendly Resort!

We stayed at Villa de Palma for 5 nights and bought the All Inclusive option thru Costco. Fabulous deal and this resort will not disappoint! Food choices were above average quality and drinks were very good. Pools were fun and our grandchildren loved the fast slide! Floaty was no problem for them to play on. Water volleyball and water aerobics were daily activities. The Entertainment Staff were so much fun and very talented performers in their nightly free shows. Alana, Ali, Albert, Chloe, and Francheica were so kind and fun and knew our names…so we felt like family after a few days of fun! Did I mention we learned how to play pickleball too! All part of what the Entertainment staff does everyday! Big shout out to Nico our pool attendant who took care of our every need! We sat in the same spot every day which wasn’t the best seat by the pool just to have Nico!!! He was the best and treated us like royalty!

    Enrique was the best!!!!!

The workers are so friendly, I’d like to give a shout out to Enrique who was so great our whole stay, especially with my elderly grandmother. If you go here, ask for Enrique he was awesome. The restaurant is clean and modern and the food was great.

Let me start by saying that Vila Del Palmar is a beautiful resort with immaculate food. However, the front desk staff and some restaurant employees could benefit from customer service training, as they lack proper etiquette in this regard. On a positive note, the cleaning staff and the bellman, especially Armando, were fantastic—pleasant, friendly, inviting, and accommodating. Armando was even more apologetic about our unfortunate beach experiences than the management was. I visited this all-inclusive resort to celebrate my 50th birthday with friends, to spend time at the beach, and enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. The food truly was exceptional, but I was misled regarding beach access. I visited two different beach locations only to be told by security that we were not allowed to enter unless we were members and had no place to sit. When we advise we were ent by our resort they said they know better as only members are allowed. We were even threatened with removal as security pointed to the cameras. Upon returning back to the resort, I asked an attendant why I was told I could access the beach at Vila Del Arco only to receive conflicting information upon arrival. I was informed that while we could go to the beach, we couldn't sit down, since that area was reserved for members only. This raises the question: what about the experiences of non-member guests? And why was that not told upfront and not instead a beach experience of limitations. I wouldn’t recommend sending anyone of my friends to Vila Del Palmar for an all-inclusive experience under these false pretense I understand circumstances but no accommodation for your guest that is very disheartening, I don't pool because of the chemical in it so I was only left to enjoy eating and excursions and no relaxation at the water which was the main purpose of me choosing to get away. This information should have been communicated upfront to prevent guests from feeling embarrassed by security staff. My suggestion is Vila Del Palmar resort could consider arranging seating for non-member guests or securing a designated area with bench so that everyone can fully enjoy the amenities of the resort and the beach. Terrible experience at Villa del Palmar Cabo. Poor service, long wait times for meals, tiny pools, strict towel rules, a

We just returned from a vacation at Villa del Palmar in Cabo San Lucas, which we booked through Costco Travel. We’ve had great experiences with Costco Travel in the past, but this trip was an enormous letdown. I would not recommend this resort to anyone and we will never return. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. The staff were unhelpful, unfriendly, and more focused on repeating rigid, unreasonable rules than actually assisting guests. There was no hospitality or effort to accommodate or improve guest experience — it felt like we were an inconvenience to them. Dining was a daily frustration. For an “all-inclusive” resort, this was the most inconvenient meal setup we’ve ever experienced. There are only three restaurants on the property — all small and unable to accommodate the number of guests. You need to have your name put on a list and then wait anywhere from 10 minutes to 90 minutes for a table. During peak dinner hours, it was common to wait over an hour. If your full party isn’t there, you can’t get seated. Only two restaurants were open for breakfast and lunch, and both served the exact same, limited breakfast menu every day. All three opened for dinner, but the one offering a nightly show fills up immediately. People line up at 5:30 PM for a 6 PM opening, and many simply hold their table until the 7:30 PM show begins. If you come around 6:30, you’re likely out of luck. Our average wait for dinner was 75 minutes — for a party of five. We were told we could “try to squeeze into a 4-top” as if that were a reasonable solution. Even though we were all-inclusive, we had to sign a check at every meal and drink order. One day, we left the pool area without signing and were called back to sign the receipt for drinks that took over an hour to be delivered. The towel policy was equally absurd. Each person is allowed only one towel, and you must sign it out with your room number. Want a second towel? Too bad — “one towel per person” is the rule. At the end of the day, towels must be returned and accounted for or else you’ll be charged. So basically, you dry off with the same towel you lay on all day. Not exactly five-star service. Room service and cleaning were mediocre. Unless you left towels on the floor, they wouldn’t be replaced — again, one towel per person, even in the bathroom. Our two-bedroom villa was outdated, and the shower door was installed backwards, causing water to flood the bathroom floor after every use. We had to use extra towels to soak it up. Our elevator was broken during our entire stay. We were on the 7th floor and had to use the stairs — including on the day we checked out. Bell service took over 30 minutes to arrive (we ended up carrying our own luggage). Pools were another huge disappointment. The three pools on the property were extremely small, more like backyard pools. One is adults-only, but the kids’ waterslide starts in that pool, so kids are constantly running through it. The family pool was crowded, tiny, and not enjoyable. The kiddie pool is practically on top of the restaurant patio where guests wait for tables. Check-in, check-out, and guest services were painfully slow. Long lines, understaffed desks, and lots of employees standing around doing nothing. I waited in line to ask for an activity schedule, only to be told I was in the “members only” line and referred to another desk — where no one was available. All in all, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. We paid a premium price expecting a relaxing, enjoyable all-inclusive stay, but instead got poor service, long waits, and minimal comfort. For the same amount of money, there are countless other resorts around the world that offer genuine hospitality, quality service, and a much better guest experience. Save your time, money, and sanity — stay somewhere else.
