Excellent resort. Clean. Good food, good live shows. Great views of ocean especially from hot tub!!! Breakfast is ok. I like omelets so omelet station is great. More of a Mexican style breakfast, which is fine. They did have pancakes, waffles, French toast. French toast was excellent too.

We’d stayed here before and I’d have given it a 9+, however I think they were trying harder because it was during Covid and it wasn’t super busy. Just got back from our 2nd trip and there won’t be a 3rd. Frankly, the property is pretty nice and the location is gorgeous. The rooms are also pretty nice. Unfortunately, things went down hill pretty fast after that. Apparently, the “all inclusive” package is designed to slow participants at every transaction so as to waste as much of your vacation time as possible, while minimizing their output of food and beverage. Every transaction has to be calculated, presented and signed for (with a long dot-matrix ticket where you reiterate room information that’s already printed) before moving between areas, or even if you walk up to a bar for a drink. This causes long lines at each register where you are constantly asked for your room number before the slightest transaction can occur. The result is a LOT of standing around and waiting, for food and beverages you’ve likely paid for months in advance, while feeling constantly scrutinized. Furthermore, when there were questions about mistakes, or about the extremely complex policy regarding “resort credit” they were almost never explained to our satisfaction or remedied. All three of our parties had to visit the front desk multiple times to ask questions and all had unexpected charges upon checkout. AVIOD VILLA DEL PALMAR like the plaque. By contrast, the RIU next door has an excellent All Inclusive where you can have almost anything you desire at any time, without signing!

Great time at Villa del Palmar CABO Very pleasant employees
We had a family of 10 to vacation at Villa del Palmar Cabo. NAYELI took very good care of our family all 10 at the pool. When she moved to a different location we moved with her. Angel in the Sports Bar
This is our sixth year at VDP Cabo with our friends, 12 in our group this year. We make a point to see Angel Luis in the Sports Bar as much as we can. Angel always goes above and beyond providing the best service. Stop in the sports bar and see Angel, you won’t regret it.

Andrés and Carlos are Amazing poolside staff!
Andrés and Carlos with the poolside staff were amazing! They were so kind and helpful. They both took the time to explain how poolside service at the resort worked, and they made sure we were comfortable the whole time whether it was bringing a umbrella for shade or asking if we wanted more drinks or food
