Fabulous hotel in a historic building

This hotel is located in what was the office building for the company that built many famous ships, including the Titanic. Most of the original rooms have been tastefully incorporated into the hotel, and one gets a real sense of history wandering the spaces that once served as board rooms, drafting rooms, etc. The bedrooms are beautifully designed, with a nautical theme also. Food in the bar was really very good, but what made the greatest impression was the friendliness and professionalism of every staff member encountered. Worth staying for this alone!

    Could of been better

Very well styled hotel, lots of information dotted about the Titanic and White Star Liners. Decor is good, room was clean, bed was comfy. Check if there is going to be a function on during your stay! We were kept awake by loud music - they offered to move us at 10:30pm ish, we didn’t hear for another 20 mins. Asked again what was happening and another 25 mins later still hadn’t been provided with an update so we were in limbo. We didn’t get moved in the end, we were offered a bottle of Prosecco or afternoon tea the next day which didn’t fit in with our plans so didn’t accept. Fortunately the music stopped at 11:30pm which wasn’t the end of the world but we had been told by staff to expect it to go on until 1am which is why we would of accepted the offer to move which was then retracted. The service in the bar area is a bit hit and miss, they take drinks orders but we had to chase drinks on numerous occasions despite there appearing to be quite a few members of staff. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, you’ll definitely find something and the made to order omelettes were enjoyed. But some of the items didn’t seem that fresh, pastries and dried fruit for example. Location is a bit out of town, but Less than £10 in a taxi or 20-30 min walk which is fine! :)

Living history hotel stay in the city.

We had a fabulous stay from start to finish. The check in staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and welcoming. Special mention to the wonderful William who gave a fascinating tour of the building and it's rich history. Thanks again William. I had the birthday package and museum tour added into the stay and I particularly loved the personalised plate with two delicious macaroons. The room was immaculate, super comfortable beds and an outstanding breakfast. Every member of staff we met were courteous, polite, and a credit to the hotel. We've already started planning another stay.

Positive experience of first time guest

We stayed here on 18th January 2025. From arrival everyone really went the extra mile.it was my first time there, although for my sister it was her third visit. The attention to detail in decor, service even down to the flat caps as part of the uniform was absolutely perfect. We ate in the bar that evening and a young girl called Loretta served us. I have travelled extensively but that young girl was remarkable. Her communication skills combined with her vivacious personality was just charming. Since returning home, l have spoken positively of my experience as a guest at the Titanic hotel on the weekend of 18th January. We are already looking to arrange another stay but this time bringing more family
