One of Ireland’s best hotels everything from the staff to the rooms to the bar and food a real gem I would 100% recommend this hotel but the big draw are the staff really accommodating friendly and cheerful it’s steeped in history and tradition and a must visit when in Belfast

Great hotel........food was disappointing
The hotel was outstanding. We booked in as locals for a special treat. Food I'm sorry to say was a tad disappointing. Main meal wasnt great. Breakfast was cold and certainly didn't live up to an Ulster fry. There were positives. The bar staff Shea, Hunter, Thomas.......legends ❤️

Highly recommend
The hotel is beautiful and historic. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and relaxing bar. The Titanic Museum is across the way The only down side is that the there are no resturants within walking distance. Regardless, I highly recommend.

Surroundings 5 Star, Service 1 Star
Went as a foursome for dinner. Lovely surroundings but the food was pretty average and staff were very young which I don't blame them for but when we asked for more drinks the waiter said that he did not serve drinks and that was that. No suggestion that he would ask the drinks waiter to come over. Then went to the bar for a digestif and, after 5 mins of standing at the bar with only one other table in the bar, a floppy-haired waiter all attitude and scowls asked what we wanted. When I ordered a Powers (whiskey) I was told that they did not have it. When I pointed out the three bottles of it beside him no apology or excuse was even hinted at. We then ordered a seasonal cocktail and my friend mistakenly interjected before the topping was placed on it and tried to take a sip at which he barked, "I'm not finished yet!" Then she tried to placate Mr Stroppy by saying sorrry and that she supposed lots of people do that ? He replies "You'd be amazed how many!" as his eyes shot to heaven. I am all for bar staff with a bit of personaity but given this is one of the pre-eminent tourist attractions in Belfast God help us if this is the welcome and attitude tourist face in "friendly" Belfast.
