    Just heavenly

    We just returned from our second trip and once again had a wonderful visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful , can't beat the location for both the beach and also walkable to many locations. The beach is just fantastic and so convenient to access just steps away...we checked out other hotels and condo style units around the area , and while some are also right on the beach , Westin is still our go to ..just the right fit for us. It's just enough comfort and luxury . Even though it was busy, we never had an issue getting lounge chairs any time we chose to arrive at the beach and it never felt crowded The Beach House Restaurant on site was fabulous and our waiter Noah made our anniversary celebration very special , not to mention the food was outstanding. Please don't take any negative reviews of Westin Grand Cayman seriously. This place is a fantastic place for couples , families and friends to gather for a relaxing visit

    Wonderful stay - worth coming back!

    Wonderful stay. Great beach, excellent service. The grounds were beautiful. We stayed at the Ritz before but might come back to the Westin given the value. It was our anniversary, and Poppy Holt, the Westin Experience Specialist, made it very special by providing a Welcome platter to our room. We greatly appreciated this special touch.

    Good not great.

    While the hotel and rooms were clean. The Resort was not worth the money. Having stayed at the Ritz and the Kimpton Seafire on more than one occasion each, those are the choices for my return trip. OK, I'll give one example from a service point of view. While I understand that the pool towel hut opens at 7am, should I be refused towels at 6:50 when the towel person is standing there folding towels in front of me? (and there is no one else around). In response to my inquiry at just quickly getting some towels to set up my 3 beach chairs by myself (which would have saved her from having to do it) She scolded me ("Can't you read the sign") for asking before 7 and told me that there was a limit of 4 towels per room (when the set up requires 6). I truly believe the resort is understaffed and could do better. I won't bore you with more examples.

    Westin Grand Cayman is great

    I have been here a few times. Honestly, its get better each time. From the help we get from the front desk, Rafael Gonzales was fantastic, helpful and very welcoming, to the lobby bar with Mauricio who is a wonderful young man, to the manager, Miss Tiffany, who always willing to help. . They are all wanting to help and customer service is a lost art. This is absolutely our favorite Westin/Marriott and we visit many.

    Exceptional Sunday Brunch Meal and Service

    We were fortunate to win two tickets for Sunday Brunch as a result of the Westin's kind sponsorship of the Veterans Association. We had an exceptional meal today on the terrace of the peaceful Ferdinands restaurant overlooking Seven Mile Beach. The Brunch food choice is exceptional from international breakfast options, to sushi, to cheese and charcuterie, to local fish dishes, to multiple meat option off the restaurant's BBQ, all accompanied with prosecco and a Chilean chardonnay. The service was exceptional and particularly from Harry and Jeff who ensured we had a great time. Both Helen and I are military veterans who have served around the world and continue to support the Regiment in the Cayman Islands. We are grateful for the Westin for your support for local veterans and a personal thank you to your team for an exceptional meal today - we are fortunate to have such a fab hotel on our doorstep ... rooms, amenities, gym, spa, cocktail bar... Thank you. R
