Steer clear of valet
Nice place. Right on the main road close to everything you need. The rooms are a little run down but not bad at all. The elevators take forever so be patient. The 21st floor Coconut Club was only open for breakfast. The only reason I didn't rank this higher 4-5 is because of their valet service. Valet costs $55 a day + taxes. They are super pushy, and unhelpful. Getting your car takes a LONG time. I was just dropping people off and the valet guy opened my door and started arguing with me! I felt so uncomfortable with their valet that I parked on the street and walked the entire stay to avoid dealing with the awful and aggressive valet.

Twin Finn was awesome hotel
We stayed for 10 wonderful days. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Bonus of free beach towels and beach chair or umbrella. Hotel is directly across the street from the beach. Nice pool and lounge chairs. Reasonably priced. Will stay there again!! Theresa Lasko

Best Waikīkī Location and Value!
Last week our family spent yet another spring break at The Twin Fin. We’ve been vacationing at this hotel 1-2 times a year for the last 15+ years. We absolutely love the location, proximity to the beach and ease of Valet services. The entire staff from the front desk at check in to housekeeping are world class excellent. Our room was beautiful, clean and the A/C is cold, comfortable! We look forward to being back at our favorite hotel sooner than later. We highly recommend The Twin Fin!

Arrived and was instantly disappointed
Arrived and was instantly disappointed. When booking the hotel I was mislead to believe there was valet and non-valet parking. When I arrived, I was told they only offer valet parking at $54/day; the non-valet parking is street parking which is impossible to find and also meter parking. I sucked it up handed over the keys and heading to the 3rd floor to check in. That is where I was told about the $400 resort fee. Wow...another cost that I was not told at the time of booking. Still, I was not gonna let this ruin my first visit to Hawaii. A few hours later, I messaged for the car like I was told and received a message that the car would be ready in 10 minutes. The time came and no car, I waited another 10 minutes or so and finally inquired about how much longer it would take. I was told that they were short staffed and that if I wanted the car I could walk with the attendant to get it. I didn't have much of an option as I had reservations that I had to get to. I followed the attendant through the back which included walking past mattresses (not sure if they were soiled or not) and also past laundry waiting to be washed along with some type of chemical smell. As I'm walking behind the scenes of the hotel, I'm asking myself, "this is what $54/day gets me??" When I checked out my total with the resort fee and parking was close to $900 (total of 7 night). The hotel experience was not worth the extra $900. On the positive, the hotel provided a great view of the ocean and I liked the location as it was less crowded due to it being at the end of the main strip. Also, the housekeeper that was assigned to my floor was extremely helpful and friendly.

Older hotel, but great location!
This hotel is right across the street from Waikiki Beach, and is within walking distance of great shopping and big-name restaurants. Their breakfast is on the 21st floor, so the view is fantastic. There is a restaurant within the hotel, as well, so makes planning meals easy. Although the rooms are a bit outdated, they are comfortable and most have a lovely view. There is a large swimming pool, car rental agencies, and a quick-stop shop within the hotel, as well.
