The receptionists were all super friendly. We had Sunil who continuously helped us with our bags and checked on us! He was very kind and accommodating. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfy! We had breakfast included and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend taking advantage of the breakfast accommodations if you can! Hotel was in a great spot and there is sooo much around you to do. Sightseeing and restaurants and shops and the train station is only a few minute walk!

Comfortable, Classy, and Perfect for Exploring London Over 60
I stayed at The Trafalgar St. James and loved it! The location is unbeatable—right on Trafalgar Square, with Buckingham Palace, Soho, and Chinatown all within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with little luxuries like an espresso machine (though I had to call for help to use it at first!), full-size toiletries, and a super comfy bed. The rooftop bar offers stunning views—even if you're just up there for photos. Staff were attentive and friendly, and even though one elevator was down, we never had long waits. One night we were too tired to go out, so we ate at the hotel restaurant—small plates, but really tasty and satisfying. Breakfast was great! It was included with our stay, and we could choose from the menu, the buffet, or even both. There was a lot of food to pick from, and everything was fresh and delicious. My favorite? The sausage—so flavorful! The chairs were comfy too, and some even had pillows, which made it feel extra cozy. As someone over 60, I appreciated the quiet elegance, easy access to everything, and the overall comfort. I'd absolutely stay here again! It was a good place to stay after walking for hours.

The perfect coffee spot
Popped in here with a friend yesterday. Having walked for miles, by the time we reached Trafalgar Square we were really in need of a caffeine hit and this beautiful hotel caught our attention. Upon entering, our simple request was met with friendliness, efficiency and professionalism. The perfect place for a quick recharge of our batteries. We will return for longer next time.

Attentive service, delicious drinks and small plates, plus elegant atmosphere made a great evening!
We spontaneously visited the hotel bar on Saturday evening, selecting it off a map to meet some acquaintances. What a pleasant surprise! We ordered various mixed drinks over the evening and a number of small plates and nibbles. Nice variety on the menu. Everything was fresh, high-quality, nicely presented and delicious. Half of our party required gluten-free food and our server, Wagdali, could tell us straight away the few items which needed to be excluded when ordering. When serving, she confirmed again that gluten-free bread (nice artisan-style!) was substituted where needed and which items we could not eat. She provided great service throughout the evening. The restaurant is spacious, beautiful and elegant, with lighting changes during the evening to keep a soft and enveloping atmosphere -- a nice respite from the noisy Trafalgar Square right outside the door. This is going on to our London bar and restaurant list!

Wonderful hotel steps from Trafalgar Square. Staff gracious, professional and accommodating. Terrific restaurant/bars.
We especially appreciated the staff. Friendly & very helpful. Shoutout to bellman Suril whose warm greetings and helpful advice made our stay that much better. Ate at restaurant several times where the tapas/ themed lunch and dinners were amazing.
