Fantastic space, indoors and out - appreciative of the unexpected upgrade for my 1-night stay. Well thought-out decor that was comfortable and stylish, especially the touch of the lights on the lanai. My stay felt special. Bar crew was friendly as was the front desk team. LOVE the shoulder bag to borrow for the beach. So thoughtful. 2 pieces of feedback: • In room 1039 one can hear the clicks of the elevator through the night since the room must be right by the top of elevator shaft. Might consider this issue if youʻre a light sleeper. • Not sure if it was just my room, but surprised no small lotion for use during my stay.

Great service / Fun hotel
Service was spectacular. From arrival to check in to the room, staff were very helpful and they made it so nice and smooth to transition into the room. One thing to note was the room's electrical was a little funny. We couldn't figure out how to turn on/off lights and fans as well as the AC, but someone came up to help us.

2nd visit, will be back
Very friendly staff. Excellent place in walkable distance from everything for the best price in waikiki. Coffee shop was a very nice addition. Enjoy the daily music by pool side. This hotel really makes for that pleasant nostalgic feel. I will be back next year

Better than expected
One of my favorite parts of this hotel was hanging around the pool area at night. Very amazing tropical vibes. The chairs and couches were comfortable and the hotel restaurant was very convenient! Food was decent, I’m sure other restaurants around the area would be better, but we ate a few meals there because of the fact it was convenient and they had good choices for food and drinks. The room we stayed in was nice, clean, and comfortable. We were told there were not pack and plays or cribs on site so keep that in mind. We decided just to make the couch into a bed for our toddler. The shower was really nice! Great water pressure, temperature, and it was very pretty!

Outstanding and We'll Be Back!
We were upgraded to one of the penthouse rooms. Thank you so much - we enjoyed our room, the lobby area (very comfy and great morning coffee), and the staff was outstanding!!!! We are kamaaina so we will definitely be back again. Don't change a thing!
