Flawless, family friendly hotel
My second trip to this beautiful resort did not disappoint. It was definitely different than the last trip, now travelling as a family with a 5 month old baby. We were originally booked at the Edition next door but were moved over to the St. Regis due to an overbooking. Although we were looking forward to trying a different hotel, we’ve now been convinced that the St. Regis Kanai will continue to be a repeat hotel for us. This time we stayed in the St. Regis 1 bedroom suite. The living area was large and the perfect setup when baby was napping. We enjoyed private dining in the room with the dining table as well for the early bedtime. Our butlers Xochitl and Erick were exceptional. They really rolled out the red carpet for our baby. The crib was set at the appropriate height and the mattress was very comfy. A diaper pail and baby toiletries were also provided. The butlers always coordinated with housekeeping and our room was cleaned so it never interfered with baby’s nap schedule. They really made our stay seamless. The team by the pool always found us comfy loungers. Fernanda was so kind and would help us with lifting the stroller and baby bag. It was the perfect vacation and we can confidently say that this is one our favorite hotels in the Cancun area. We are already planning a third visit next year.

Relaxing and Beautiful!
As others have said, the property is absolutely gorgeous and very well-kept. We thoroughly enjoyed having the plunge pool and our room still had an ocean view from our deck. We had dinner at Che Che’s (taco tasting menu night) at the Etero, Ki-i’s at the Edition (don’t miss the Lobby Bar too) and Toro all of which I highly recommend (we booked all prior and were glad of it). We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Definitely use the golf cart service if going to Etero as it’s not walkable unless you are on the beach due to construction. The beach itself was very nice and much wider than I expected. The entrance to the ocean is a bit rocky but if you walk down towards the Edition or Etero it’s not as bad. Even though it was a busy weekend we always easily found chairs as well. Only a few negatives--There were two different corporate groups there at the same time so it was definitely busy and some of the restaurants and activities (beach yoga for instance was particularly disappointing) were closed or restricted just for those groups. Beach service our second day was not great and we were told that day we only got one free water each which is ridiculous at the prices charged (and we were also spending on cocktails) but we stayed closer to the pools the next couple of days and service was much better! Lastly, we chose the spa package at a pretty significant upcharge which included two massages and daily hydrotherapy—this could have been better organized/explained/welcoming but the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had and the spa itself is a dream. If you are looking for a place to relax/recharge with great food and beautiful surroundings, don’t hesitate!

Pure Heaven!
The St. Regis Riviera Maya is pure heaven! We traveled with our 2 teenage boys during the February school break and we all decided it was our favorite vacation yet! The grounds are beautiful, the food and drinks are delicious, and the staff are beyond lovely. Our butlers, Dali and Ana, went above and beyond to make sure we had absolutely everything we needed. The pool staff were also incredibly attentive and friendly. We cannot wait to go back!!

We'd like to extend our gratitude to Ezequiel, Guadalupe, and Edna, who provided outstanding service. Their warm smiles and attention to detail made our stay truly special.
