Food is nice - my son loved the buffet, the rides are amazing, no waiting lines, room is big and clean. you don't have to go out to buy gifts, everything is so convenient. but we didn't had a change to go to the beach as the weather wasn't good. will definitely come again.

Do not come here.
We had such high expectations for this resort and never even considered the fact that it would be the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We had multiple rooms with over 12 people staying at the resort. Starting from the check-in, the room types that we were guaranteed, at least in one case, was unable to fulfilled and in other cases, it took going to supervisors to prevent it from happening again. Generally speaking, the employees of this resort across all the outlets are not very accommodating and tend to get frustrated easily and then become very rude. When asking for a drink at a restaurant, or for any type of help, they make you feel like your question is a burden to them. There were numerous times we called the VIP service desk for help and needed to be connected to different departments, we were either hung up on, or connected to another department with no one being able to assist us. I don't understand how this property can charge the prices of a five-star luxury hotel but provide this level of service and offering. The food at this hotel is expensive as any fine hotel I've ever been to around the world and is absolutely sub-par, at best, and in many cases inedible. We rented a cabana at The Corral pool and food that was delivered was stale, cold, and also inedible. The room service at The Royal including soft drinks such as coffee, are also inedible. Nobu was our best experience from a food perspective, better than the other restaurants, but definitely not at the same quality or experience as the other Nobu locations I've experienced all of the country. All the other fine dining restaurants including the restaurant by Jose Andres, Seafire Steakhouse were extremely expensive and offering mediocre food. Some of the food items at these locations were inedible. For example, my 10oz filet was completely inedible. On a positive note, we found the housekeeping staff to be the most gracious and accommodating. In addition, there were experiences that continued to not meet our expectations when paying what I am. For example, it down poured rain for 45 minutes at the pool, when we went to get new towels since we were soaked, The Royal pool had no towels for anyone for over an hour. That same day, our room (the whole west wing) of our tower was out of water. Because of all these experiences, I called the VIP service desk and asked to speak to someone in senior management. I provided my contact information to have them call me, and 3 days later, I have yet to receive this call. It is apparent that this resort does not care about their guests and the overall experience they provide. I will definitely not be returning ever again and would highly recommend using your money to vacation elsewhere.

Disappointed with Recent Stay at Atlantis Bahamas
I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent stay at your resort. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling disappointed and questioning whether I would return. While Atlantis has long been recognized as a premier family destination, I found the current experience challenging, especially for families. The cost of meals was extraordinarily high—$50 for three scoops of ice cream, $20+ for a salad without protein (with an additional $15 for protein), and 15% automatic gratuity on top of a 10% service charge. With four adults in our group, we were spending $125–$200 on each meal without drinks. For families with children, I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to enjoy a stay at these prices, particularly since no all-inclusive options are available. In addition, I encountered a noticeable difference in service quality. While many of the male staff members were kind and hospitable, most female staff I interacted with were dismissive or outright rude. This sentiment was independently echoed by others in my travel group, which suggests it wasn’t an isolated experience. It’s disheartening to feel unwelcomed, especially when visiting such a well-known destination. The overall atmosphere made me feel “nickeled and dimed” rather than valued as a guest. Despite the beauty of the resort, this experience overshadowed the trip. I left with the impression that staff may be underpaid, overworked, or otherwise disengaged, leading to subpar service. I would strongly encourage your management team to conduct undercover assessments of the guest experience to better understand these issues. A focus on improving staff morale, transparency with pricing, and better value for families would go a long way in restoring Atlantis’s reputation as a premier destination.

Go to Jamaica
I’m actually writing this review while we are here. We have been here 3 days and I must say the grounds are beautiful from the sea life to the landscaping, but the employees are miserable! We have not encountered one nice person who seems happy to be here . We tried to go for a sunset walk on the beach, and they blew a whistle at us and just said NO -closed ! All of the kids in our party were not able to play at the kids water park??? We have a toddler and tweens so it was very difficult to find a place for everyone to play. Slides are closed and EVERYTHING is extra and over priced Literally everything!! We have not encountered one happy employee and we have come to the conclusion that in the Bahamas there is zero customer service and hospitality. They seem to not care that you are here on vacation and they certainly do not want you interrupting them when they are on their phones. Next time we will choose Jamaica !!! Jamaicans LOVE that you are there and you feel it ! We will not be back.

Explore other opportunities.
Expensive and fun for the most part. Be prepared to tip for nearly everything. The staff expects a tip for poor service. The waterpark was great and the beaches were awesome. The resort has an incredible amount of aquatic life going during the winter season provided great opportunity to come and go as we pleased without having to deal with the heat or long lines..
