    STAY AWAY FROM THE CASINO

Casino staff are poorly trained and management unhelpful. Numerous times staff at the tables did not know the rules. On one occasion at the table the staffed took my money which I had placed down to have chipped up. Pit boss was rude and unhelpful. Casino management never contacted me nor wanted to acknowledge the mistake.

    The resort needs maintenance!

Room and bathroom had numerous maintenance issues. It impacted the quality of our stay and oversight experience. It’s one of our favorite resort, no effort was made to provide recovery or a room change. We raised our concerns when we arrived but no follow up took place.

    Annoying housekeeper and needs improvements!

The best thing about this hotel is the view! It was amazing! The resort is beautiful and very nice! The room was big and nicely decorated. The bathroom was okay but it needs a better update. The tub was small and stained. The first day we were there the tub backed up so that I was standing ankle deep in water before it was over. 😖 I removed the drain plug and found a giant wad of hair was in the drain! It was disgusting! I pulled it out and then the drain worked fine! There was a coffee maker in the room but we had to go ask housekeeping for sugar and creamer. The hotel was very noisy and crowded! We stayed here for only two nights. On the first morning, as I was headed down to see the sunrise, a female housekeeper (9th floor east tower) stopped me and asked me how long we were staying. I told her that we would leave the next day. Then, she wanted to know what time we would check out. I told her that I wasn’t sure the exact time but probably not until 11am. (The hotel check out time) She seemed disappointed to hear that but said “okay, yes ma’am”! Later that day, when I was coming back to the room she stopped me again and asked if we had decided what time we would be leaving the next day. I told her that it would probably be 11am. “Yes ma’am!” Was her response. The next morning, at 6:30 am, the housekeepers were talking really loud in the hallway and going in and out of their supply closet that was VERY squeaky! Then when I went out again to go to the beach, the same woman asked me again what time would we be leaving that day and I told her 11am. She said, “yes, Ma’am. When I returned to the room at 10:20 to meet my husband and gather our things to check out she asked me again when we would be leaving. I told her again the same time. My Husband and I got the rest of our things together, freshened up a little and were walking to the door right at eleven when there was a knock on our door! 🙄 As we walked out she called from another room and said “just housekeeping” I just said we are leaving now! I have never had anyone harass me about a check out time before! And she only asked me! She never asked my husband! We did complain about her as we checked out!

Great vacation at the Atlantis 2025

We have been staying at the Atlantis for many years. For family fun, you can't find a better vacation destination. There is something to do for everyone. The dining is over the top fantastic. We ate at Silan on the outdoor patio and enjoyed mediterranean cuisine. We ate at Seafire and enjoyed broiled steak. We ate at Paranza and thoroughly enjoyed Italian cuisine. We also ate at the Shake Shack and had great burgers and shakes. We also had some luck in the casino in the evening. We golfed at the Ocean Club and had some beers in the clubhouse and on the course. It doesn't get any better.

Prepare to feel like you’ve been fleeced .

We are leaving in the morning so I had some time to give a summary. Beautiful resort with many things to do and a beautiful beach. If money is no object it’s great. For 99% of the world this place is way overpriced. A few examples--my wife and I and our 2 teenagers ate at the resorts buffet (Poseidon). It’s listed at $79 per person (which in itself is ridiculous) so we figured we would bite the bullet one night and try it out. What a joke! Our total bill was $395 and the food was simply decent. We were so livid that they had the nerve to charge an extra $48 because a band was playing, are you flipping kidding me? The band was so loud that we were sitting at a small table of 4 and we couldnt hear a word we were saying the entire time. We paid 9 grand to stay there for 5 days and they have the nerve to add on a fee because a band was playing. Were we’re so mad after we saw our bill that we wanted to leave,complain/ask for a refund, etc but my wife and I decided to not ruin it for our kids. On the way up to the room my son has been wanting to play on their mini put put course. Once again, a put put course is complimentary in any resort I’ve ever stayed in. Not at Atlantis. $40 per person to play put put. Ridiculous. Not a damn thing is included in your room price so, unless you are loaded, be prepared to feel like you’ve been taken to the cleaners because good chance it’s how you will feel. Kids left happy but parents felt totally taken advantage of in any way Atlantis could possibly. Last example-dolphin experience….kids loved it. Very expensive ($600 for the 2 of the for a hour). We could live with that high price as it is a cool experience. However, who from Atlantis management thinks charging an addition $125 for the 5 photos package is ok/not obscene? Management-don’t you think that price should include at least 1 photo with the astronomical price of $300? We will not be visiting this property again as I feel they do everything except hold you upside down and shake every last penny out of your pockets before you leave.
