    Taikun fuses the finest grade of sushi with authentic ingredients, sophisticated presentation and legendary Ritz-Carlton service. From the freshest Sashimi to savory Signature Rolls, Taikun delivers an experience worthy of its name, an ancient Japanese term of respect from which the English  “tycoon” was derived. One of the hallmarks of the Taikun experience is real wasabi grated tableside. The Taikun staff grates the rhizome against sharkskin in the traditional Asian way, ensuring the delicate wasabi root touches only organic materials.

    Top tier luxury

    I was lucky enough to be my friend's +1 on her rewards trip for work. I've had the privilege of staying at many luxury hotels and this is at the top of my list for service, location, cuisine and amenities. Above all, the service was unparalleled. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and make sure you aren't lacking for anything. Jorenz, a server at Andiamo, and Akmal, who was our server in our beach cabana, were especially exceptional; friendly, helpful. The grounds were lush and beautiful, the gorgeous white sand beach skirted by turquoise water was spectacular.

    Saint June Bar such a beautiful bar.

    It was amazing as always ❤️, we went there last year to visit the best bartender on the island our lovely Cristina is from the Cayman 🇰🇾 islands we know her for 9 years now she worked @ the IHG for years and we could never forget our lovely Cristina, we are also a big fan of her Boss Brandon we were hoping to see him this time but he wad busy and we will be coming back for sure, the Ritz is a beautiful place and I highly recommend it .

    Best Family Vacation

    Truly spectacular! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we didn't encounter a single staff member that wasn't happy to be there or happy to help. We traveled over Easter 2025 with our 3 children ages 10, 7, 4. It's always tough to find a place that caters to all ages AND adults, but I think this Ritz in particular hit all the points. I can say for certain that we were never bored. They put on a super cute Easter egg hunt for the kids on Sunday! Everyday around 3pm, there is some sort of special treat on the resort tower side. We had snow cones and cotton candy while we were there. On the ocean tower side, they often came around with frozen fruit, frozen cappuccinos and other small snacks. It was a really nice touch. We were celebrating my sons 10th birthday and we had chatted with concierge prior to arriving. They were so sweet to send a cake, a stuffed animal, bag and hat to the room. A very nice recognition! When we arrived to check in, we used our nightly awards to request an upgrade from the resort tower to the ocean tower. It was available and I am SO happy we did! The room was decently standard, two queens. A large bathroom with a shower and a tub, good size closet. but the VIEW! Could not be beat! It was so gorgeous and peaceful to look at. Housekeeping was wonderful both in the morning and for turn down service. All you have to do is tell them what time works good for you and they are happy to accommodate. We ate from the Andiamo poolside menu a few days for lunch and we ate dinner at Saint June one evening. Both were good meals, but pricey for what it was. To be assumed though. The beach service and the pool service were speedy quick and always with a smile! At the beach, included in the daily resort fee, are several non motorized water sports. They have kayaks, hobbie cats, paddle boards, etc. All were available to us with no wait times. It was so nice to be out on the water and see how beautiful it was! They also have Red Sail Watersports company on site to assist with jet skis, etc. for an additional cost. At every pool station, they provide ice cold water and SPF 15, 30, 50 sunblock for you to use. Getting beach chairs was no problem at all, but if you want front row you do have to be down there by 7am. Not that this would change my review or keep me from returning, but a couple things to note: 1. There is no mini fridge in the room. They have honor bar with soft drinks, beer and wine, but it is packed in compartments making it impossible to fit anything else inside. Having kids, we often had leftover chicken tenders or fruit from breakfast that we didn't want to throw away. 2. You will be charged in US dollars and at their conversion rate. I will admit that the exchange rate is close, but it isn't correct. Pretty much nowhere on the island will charge you in KYD. Most every major credit card has an international exchange conversion that happens automatically. When you travel in Europe, you are charged in euros and you will see the charge in US dollars on your statement. I found this to be so odd and everywhere we went they told us, we can't charge you because it's an American credit card. It was frustrating and even though a couple dollars off at a time, it all adds up. Overall, this resort checked all our vacation boxes. We had the most wonderful week relaxing and having fun here!

    Birthday celebration at the Ritz

    The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman Islands My entire family stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The purpose of the trip was to relax and celebrate. Perfect location, right on beautiful beach with lots of canopies and personalized service on the beach bye the Ritz attentive staff. Although the weather was hot, (Labor Day weekend ) the water was nice, calm, clear and comfortable, with the donuts in the water where you can lay and cool off. The island has lots of restaurants with vegetarian choices.

    Beautiful Hotel On A Beautiful Beach

    The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman is a beautiful hotel set on one of the most beautiful beaches. Every staff member you encounter provides an extremely high level of service. We stayed in a standard garden view room on the tower side and felt the room was a nice comfortable size with all the amenities and comfort we would want and expect at a five-star hotel - we wanted for nothing. Daily housekeeping and evening turn-down service was very efficient. All the restaurants on site are excellent. Room service food was fast and very good. Pool and beach attendants help you set up your chairs, spread towels and provide food and drink service. Every staff member is there to ensure your needs are looked after - the "ladies and gentlemen" as they call them are highly trained to provide the highest level of professionalism, courtesy and customer service. This is not a cheap hotel - drinks are expensive, food is expensive so if you are on a budget this is not the hotel for you. Having said that, if you want a top-notch luxurious experience at a 5-star hotel on a white sand beach with calm warm waters then this is exactly the place for you and highly recommended. This is my new favourite hotel.
