Wonderful Choice, Don't Let The Location Worry You

As a frequent traveler to Aruba, I was unsure about staying here due to the location....but I found it walkable to everything in the Palm Beach area. The view from my room (partial ocean view) was lovely. The hotel has an adult pool and a family pool, but in October, they were both fairly quiet. The beach had many umbrellas as well as umbrellas at the pools. I had no trouble getting a chair and umbrella, even in the mid to late morning. I suppose if you want front row on the beach, you have to get up early....but it wasn't that important to me. Service at the beach and pool were wonderful....from setting up your chairs and towels, to food and beverage service, the staff were friendly and attentive. The casino is very nice, although I did not win.... Several nice restaurants here as well. I will choose the Ritz again in the future.

    Ritz in Name Only

This hotel sits at the end of palm beach which is just a never ending row of high rise commercialized hotels. The water at the beach at this property is shallow which is nice, but very crowded. The hotel lobby is just really bad here. It’s very stiff with the employees not that friendly. The pools… good lord to get a chair that’s not behind a bush somewhere you need to get a chair at 6am. The pool attendants don’t escort you/ you must go hunt them down which in 90 degree heat with kids is pretty annoying. The pool food and service was good. I think all the rooms are ocean front and ours was also. The beds were comfy and room was large. But in general I was unimpressed with the property. It’s just not very pretty! I did not experience typical ritz quality experience. I think there are better options on palm beach and I would not return to this resort.

I would definitely recommend if you ever come to this gorgeous island.

First I have to say the staff was amazing. Especially Marcos in concierge and Jose’s margaritas. They both went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Marcos is very good in customer service and goes out of his way to make his guest happy. Jose’s drinks are incredible, with the fresh squeezed juices I would recommend the spicy margarita and mango margarita. These two are definitely assets to this hotel.

    Beautiful property

Stayed here for two nights before moving over to a resort condo. Pretty much everything is 5 stars at this property except we found it very quiet. We rented a pool cabana one day and a beach Bimini another. Service was excellent. Beach is beautiful. Both BLT and Nonna were excellent for dinner. Casino is kind of small and quiet. Big older crowd during the day playing Bingo. We would come back and stay here again.

    Nice high end resort

This is a fine high end resort at the far end of a very busy strip in Aruba. The guys at the beach do a wonderful job keeping it calm, and the swimming is lovely. My room was at the quiet end which I appreciated. Staff is friendly. Cabs took forever to come, after being told by the concierge I couldn't reserve one for the airport, becaus "they're always here." Definitely worth it if you want a full service resort and you can get a cheaper rate; not sure if I'd do the rack rate.
