Beautiful hotel on the beach near the Southern Most Point
This was our 1st time staying here and we will be back! The hotel and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The food was amazing. We stayed at Casa Marina, their sister site, last time and both are wonderful. We enjoyed The Reach just a bit more. We highly recommend this hotel.

The Reach- Key West
Hilton Diamond Member- stayed with points. The basic room was a garden view- was actually a great spot. 2nd visit to Key West and was great! Location- near the Southern most point- short uber to Duval st. We walked one day- its an easy flat walk and about a mile - can rent a golf cart at hotel if needed Room was great- no issues with a nice balcony to sit on at night- was in the corner so voices carried but wasn't an issue Food & Beverage- Food was great - wish there was later options but plenty within a short disance of hotel Pool- was clean and plenty of access to chairs- rented a cabana one day, this was great Beach was great- small but was to be expected Overall great spot and will definetly come back

Average
Poor value for money, expected luxury at £2400 for 3 nights. The staff were excellent, except for the front of house woman at breakfast who was rude and self important. Despite the fact that breakfast was included they still managed to squeeze another $18 out of us for tax and service! Our room was excellent, but it was only made up once in 3 days. The beach was really nice. The jetty has been taken over by pigeons, and is completely covered in guano - it is a serious hazard to health and should be shut down immediately.

Can you credit us with the $200 compensation
We were offered the compensation owing to the fact we waited an hour for our room to be ready. Told it would appear on our account. Unfortunately this has not happened and neither have we had a response to our email. Is the lift working yet? The hotel is in a beautiful location which does compensate for its shortcomings.

Don’t understand the hate…
Ok maybe I do understand the hate a little bit. For the same price you could stay at a Conrad, Jw or Ritz elsewhere in Florida. It’s 5* prices for a 4* resort. But it’s not advertised as a 5* resort so if you’ve done your research you should know what you’re getting into. This is just the price of KW. I was very worried after reading the reviews, but that all went away. It’s wonderful. The rooms are clean and feel updated. The facilities do feel a little “rustic,” but again that’s sort of the charm of KW. Didn’t eat a ton at the restaurant, but the views alone are incredible. Drinks are great. Pool and beachside service is fantastic. The pool area feels very clean and it’s pretty. Massive iguanas came and hung out around the pool deck. The beach is gorgeous and the best we’ve seen in KW. Hence the price tag I think. Clean and soft sand all the way into the ocean. Someone comes around with popsicles in the afternoon. We’re here during Spring Break and it doesn’t feel crowded at all. Always able to find seats. The location is fantastic. Even with little kids we’ve walked everywhere. We would definitely come back. Checked out Casa Marina their sister resort. It’s much grander and feels quite upscale. The restaurant prices definitely reflect that. However, their pools looked very meh. The beach was rocky so The Reach beach wins in that area by a mile. We looked into staying there and now that I’ve seen both super glad we picked The Reach.
