    Wonderful spring break stay in NYC

    I took one of my daughters on her first trip to New York over spring break and we had a lovely stay at the Kimberly. The location is great -- we were able to walk there from Grand Central, and it's very close to the 51st Street station. (6, E and M trains). We took the subway all over the city for the four days we had in NYC and appreciated the short walk to the subway. I booked a 2 double bed room and thought it was spacious for a NYC hotel room. We had plenty of space. The beds were quite comfortable, we had a table we could sit and eat takeout dinner at, and the room was quiet (no street noise or noise from neighbors). The provided toiletries in the bathroom were nice, too (I love the L'occitane soaps). My only minor complaint about the room, which I'm almost embarrassed to post is that the ventilation in the bathroom seemed like it could be improved. If you took a shower, left the door closed and came back hours later, the bathroom was still steamy. Similarly, if someone used the toilet and closed the door, well, the bathroom was going to still smell just like it hours later, too. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and view at the rooftop restaurant and bar. Every staff member we met, from the doormen to front desk staff to housekeeping and wait staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was my first time staying at the Kimberly and we had such a wonderful stay that I'm already looking forward to visiting again this fall with my other daughter.

    Another Perfect Stay

    Another perfect stay. This is my go to in NY. You will not be disappointed. Great spacious rooms by NY standards. Exceptional staff. Welcome coffee in the beautiful upstairs dining room every morning and during the day. Very quiet. Well located.

    5 day Mew York getaway for me spouse and I.

    Older facility that s well maintained. Room furniture is dated but everything works. View from 30th floor was very nice. Steakhouse attached was excellent with a nice bar on roof top. Staff was excellent from the bellmen, front desk and housekeeping. Everything was very clean and facility had fast elevators with both operational at all times so no waiting around. Location was great.

    Best Hotel in New York!

    We're three friends and colleagues who have stayed here for the last few years - and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in NY. The staff are friendly, helpful, and nothing is too much bother; the rooms are delightful, views amazing and location perfect. Don't waste your money anywhere else. We love it!

    Excellent!

    Excellent hotel with spacious, clean rooms and great service. Shout out to Crystal at the front desk for her help. We booked two one bedroom suites with kitchenettes for our group. We had small balconies, windows that open and bathrobes provided which are not an easy find in nyc anymore. Air conditioning worked well and bathroom products were L'Occitane. The sofa bed was ready to go with sheets on already and pillows and blankets in the closet. Had excellent cocktails on the rooftop bar before settling out for dinner. My parents ate at Bistola and enjoyed their flatbreads and complimentary hummus and pita. Location can't be beat. Highly recommend.
