  The Cove Sapphire Suites with Butler Service

  Stayed five days. Fish is the only flavorful restaurant. Make reservations before going unless you have butler service. Hit or miss with the spa staff. Don't miss out on hors d' oeuvres at Lapis when you stay at The Cove. Gym is crowded all morning. Everything has a 10% VAT fee added. Food 15% gratuity is automatically added. Chilly and windy at night. The room was beautiful with turn down service.

  20 years of meticulous service and fantastic experiences at the Cove Atlantis Cabana's

  My husband and I have been coming to Atlantis Paradise Island for nearly 20 years. The beautiful beaches and magnificent clear waters are what first drew us to the island, but what kept us coming back is its people. Bahamians are genuine, friendly and hard working individuals, family oriented, steeped in its rich culture and history. Many years ago, we were given the distinct privilege of getting to know one of these amazing individuals, whose name is Anthon, one of the many private cabana butlers by the cove’s sparkling adult pool. It was one of our first experiences in a cabana, and while we had met several Cabana butlers before him, Anthon stood out as someone we immediately liked - so much so that we’ve continued to ask for him specifically to be our cabana butler ever since, every time we visit, several times a year. Anthon, immediately made us feel at home with his warm smile and incredible work ethic. He is friendly, patient and accommodating to our endless demands, and exudes a sense of peace and calm that radiates to all those who are lucky enough to be in his presence. Many times, after a dip in the coves magnificent ocean, we return to our cabana to see that while we were out, our cabana had been swept of the mounds of sand we all have dragged in, rid of any excess water from the cabanas outdoor shower, our shoes neatly lined up making them easier to locate, the bathroom has been refreshed, used & discarded towels had been picked up and removed and replaced with fresh towels on the chaises and floor, and any used dishes and flatware cleared, as if our own personal cleaning fairy had graced us and been by to service the cabana, making it even more magnificent and comfortable upon our return. Anthon has a rare disposition and the unique trait of being able to balannce impeccable service without being overwhelming, checking in on what seems like perfectly timed interludes, to make sure that we have everything our hearts desire, that we are enjoying ourselves, have everything we require and that we do not lift a finger while in his care, which gives us the rare ability to relax and enjoy each and every moment we are able to spend in our cabana. Even after the very first time he was with us, Anthon knew our drink and food orders and had already filled our ice bucket filled with our favorites - making us cabana novices, feel like the “usuals” we would eventually become. He works tirelessly to make sure we receive everything we ask for and goes above and beyond to make sure even off the menu items (such as my favorite drink from the original now twice replaced, Cain at the cove) are accessible, even if it means he has to go to another restaurant in the resort to get it for us, making sure his guests are the happiest they have ever been in one of the beautiful places on earth. When our children were old enough, we began to bring them with us, Anthon, who always seems to be able to anticipate our needs before we even know what they are, had beach toys at the ready for our young twins. After meeting him, our twins immediately took a shine to Anthon; a father himself (as we’ve learned over the years), as we did. Now our children look forward to each and every trip excitedly asking if they will get to see their friend Anthon. Over the many years and multiple visits a year to the Cove, we began to bring family, friends and clients along with us, because we know and trust that Anthon will make them feel immediately comfortable and at home, knowing their every need and requirement will be fulfilled with graciousness. We trust that Anthon will ensure everyone will have an incredible time, as long as they are in his capable hands. Many of our guests, have since become repeat guests, due in large part to Anthon’s attention to detail. Currently, once a year, we bring a large group of friends, many with young children, knowing that with Anthon, all will be absolutely perfect. Over the years this group has become larger and more demanding and the kids have gotten older and more comfortable in their surroundings. The kids consistently and excitedly encircle Anthon begging his attention and always receiving it, with patience and his ever present warm smile and peaceful demeanor. Over the years, the drink orders have increased and become more complicated but Anthon gets it right every time, no matter how large the order, and will often make multiple trips over the course of just a few minutes to ensure all the demands of both the adults and the children are met, enabling everyone feel happy, carefree and relaxed. All our guests know Anthon by name and look forward to seeing his friendly smile, whenever we bring them along. Anton has seen us through and been with us through so many years of our lives, times of joy, times of grief, the birth of our children, the loss of loved ones, rough patches and joyous times in life and through all, has remained steadfast and has never decreased his professionalism. We always know that even if everything goes wrong on a trip, that at least one thing will always be right and that is the experience in the cabana with Anthon, wether it be once or every day during our trip (our preference). Anthon has somehow managed to turn this cabana into an extension of our home where we either privately, or with family, friends and even clients, feel welcomed and entertained, while having everything they could possibly want and demand at their fingertips. I don't usually post reviews, but Anthon continues to provide amazing service every time we visit the Cove and it's about time I post a rave review, since we have just returned from our most recent trip with the kids ;-) Anthon is the very definition of what customer service should be. He goes above and beyond, not just for us or the company we bring along, but to all who are lucky enough to have him as their cabana butler during their stay. Service such as Anthon provides, is one of the main reasons we keep coming back to the Cove cabanas time and time again. He and his care of us always makes us feel welcome. When you come to the Bahamas - instead of saying “welcome back”, they say “Welcome Home”. Thanks to Anthon and his meticulous service, the Cove at Atlantis Paradise Island has indeed become our home away from home - only way better. Anthon and his care of us always makes us feel welcome. Most importantly, Anthon makes us and everyone we bring along, feel like family.

  Big problem with the elevator noise Could not sleep with the elevator noise, Atlantis knows about the problem but its never been fix , at first no hot water, once the water fix , almost burn myself, pillow to big, Restaurant are ok, used to be better 5 years ago, Maybe the big shot of Atlantis should go try some restaurant in Bahamar!!!

  Great time for a relaxing getaway, great food, great staff, great fun (before the crowds of Spring break)

  We love the Cove in Atlantis. It is very upscale and reserved mostly for adults, although there is plenty for families on the Atlantis/Coral Reef side. Many of the restaurants are new which is very nice. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful and the grounds were spotless. A special shout out to Ortenal, our Cove bartender for an enjoyable week.

  Beautiful facility

  Disappointed with lunch possibilities and the requirement to ‘buy’ poolside lounges for $500 a day! Beautiful facility and grounds-mostly very friendly staff. Transportation between towers was very good, reasonably timely-drivers were very pleasant.
