Great island
The only reason I did not give this resort a 5 is because there is NO BEACH. There is a beach to the left of the resort that is absolutely stunning but there are no chairs to sit in and you can’t use the lounges that are there because they belong to the sand lane hotel. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again other than the fact that there’s no beach. Everything at this resort is very good otherwise. The food and drinks are good. The service is as well. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is very friendly. Holetown is a short walk away where there are restaurants and bars as well.

retirement home
This resort states that it is all inclusive but it is not! After 9 we were hungry and the two restaurants they have were both closed. I asked the bar could I order something and they said they were closed for food also. The resort is very small and has no elevators, so be prepared to hike up a lot of stairs with your luggage and after you’ve been drinking. No entertainment, outside of the little water aerobics. It’s not close to anything so you will be spending a lot of money leaving off the resort. The food is horrible and they have a very very small variety to choose from. Everything was nasty to me so i stuck with french fries and chicken and english muffins for breakfast. They need to renovate. This spot was basically a retirement home. It’s was so slow and made vacation crappy. However, Kareene the bar tender, was so pleasant and welcoming. We looked forward to seeing her everyday. Tre the pool guy, was so sweet and helpful all the time. We had regrets about this place as soon as the cab dropped us off from the airport. The pool closes at 6 smh. I had to get my room changed because the door looked like someone was trying to break it down. People were taking food to their rooms from dinner because they knew they wouldn’t be able to get anything else until the morning, but no microwave in the room to warm it🤣 even checking in was boring lol. But the young man who showed us to our room was very nice. The pools are small and you have to go out early to secure a chair or you won’t have one. And the beach!!! Forget about it! They are on the beach but they have this wall because the water is high so you can’t just walk onto the beach and into the water. You have to walk across some rocks twisted and bending your ankles lol while waves are slamming into you and the wall. It’s a mess. I don’t suggest this place if you’re trying to have fun. But if you wanna just wanna sleep all day, this is for you!!

Great Barbados getaway!
Wife and I Along with another couple stayed at The Club Barbados in April 2025 for a short get away. At first look we thought the resort was a little outdated but the rooms were very spacious and very clean. We headed down to the beach and realized that it was a very small resort with an amazing view. The resort is all inclusive and every meal we had was amazing!!! The wait staff were incredibly nice and quick to fill your glass when empty. I believe it was day 2 when we were at the Beach when all the fun started. We met Steve Chandler a local who approached us at our chairs. Very friendly guy who’s stories made us all laugh. Well Steve is the guy to know if you need anything in Barbados!! On day 3 Steve was our personal guide, day 4 Steve set us up with an amazing Catamaran tour and on day five Steve even drove us to the airport. So if you ever stay at The club Barbados Steve is the man to book all your tours!! If you are looking for a small all inclusive resort in Barbados I highly recommend The Club Barbados.

Laid back vibe
Leading up to every vacation, I read the Tripadvisor reviews to determine how to get the most out of a resort. It becomes obvious the pros and cons and that is what I will provide here - the real facts. Do NOT come to this resort if you prefer a large, modern, full of life, with many amenities vacation. Do NOT come here if you want to lay on a lounge chair on the beach, if you have mobility problems, or if you like to party at a disco well into the night. Absolutely DO come here if you like the boutique resort feel, where you can always get a lounge chair by the pool, where you never have to wake up early to book dinner reservations, where you rarely wait in line for anything and within less than a minute walk, you have access to Sandy Lane beach which is one of the nicest in the world. DO come to Club Barbados if you want to stay at a very clean resort, with Caribbean charm, walk safely into town, peaceful setting where there is always something good to eat, the entertainment is chill, and the drinks are plentiful. The staff are hit and miss but in the end very reliable and if you are friendly so are they. I would absolutely recommend this place … but for what I have indicated. Do your research, know what you are getting into, and you won’t be disappointed.

Disappointed in Barbados
Island time and service was very frustrating. Had reservations at Enid restaurant for 6:30 arrived on time and walked into darkness. Staff hadn't turned on lights- not ready yet! Virtually zero pool side service, staff walk away after picking up empty glasses and you don't see them again. Small, dated resort. Food basic with limited choices Alert for anyone with any mobility issues, many level changes of platforms and steps to beach, no elevators Lists a few bars and restaurants but in reality you can see them all from one corner of resort Reported bugs in room, we dealt with those we could reach with wet towel, told you must have left a light on. Had to insist they send a maintenance person to spray - didn't want to sleep with bugs. Beach nice and walkable but not long We have discovered we are big resort people and will follow our bliss elsewhere
