Feb 21, 2025Wonderful luxury launchpad for a first visit to Edinburgh
From the moment we stepped inside the door of the Caledonian, my partner and I were made feel very welcome by lovely staff who made our visit a delight throughout our three-night stay. It was our first time visiting the city, and the concierges (special shout out to Nathan) made sure we knew how to make the best use of our time. The room was extremely comfortable - gorgeous duvet and pillows and perfect temperature. Food was delicious and the location superb for easy access both to the Old Town and the New Town. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to be back again before too long.

Great stay
We have loved this hotel. The location is great , the rooms are very nice and the view of the castle was a nice treat . The staff from the moment we walked through the door couldn’t do enough for us . Breakfast was also fantastic . Highly recommend .

Top notch hotel
We stayed here for 3 nights whilst on a short family break. Hotel staff are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. I’m a member of Hilton honours and even at my modest level of membership we got upgraded to a castle view room and I have to say the view is excellent. The room is spacious and well appointed. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!
Fantastic stay. Customer service was excellent. Staff were lovely in every respect, particularly George, the doorman. Free upgrade to our room to celebrate our daughter's birthday leaving chocolates and birthday wishes. A brilliant personal touch. Breakfast was amazing!

Must Stay and Dine at The Court (ask for Emily or Michael)
From the second we were dropped off, the experience was amazing the entire time. I must say, the people of Edinburgh are so nice and helpful. The entire hotel staff was excellent and so helpful. The room is large and the bed is super comfortable. I had a view of The Edinburgh Castle so it made my stay even nicer. Located in the perfect location between Old and New Town, I look forward to staying here again. The restaurant in the hotel was beautiful and had an amazing menu. We stopped in for afternoon tea and a snack and had the nicest server, Emily. So helpful, informative and, just a nice girl. She was so excellent we made dinner reservations and then for dinner we had the pleasure of getting served by Michael. This young man went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable about whiskey and even brought me a wee pour for me to taste. Both Emily and Michael checked on us regularly and made our lunch and dinner experience very pleasant. Truly loved our stay and our experience at the Caldedonian and The Court!
