We had an amazing stay at the The Alex Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. Our tour company, Irish Tourism, booked our stay and we could not have been happier. We were in Ireland celebrating our 50th anniversary and the hotel left us a personal note congratulating us on our anniversary and some wonderful chocolate covered strawberries so special. The hotel room was so comfortable and well- decorated- very elegant but not 'stuffy'. The restaurants served some delicious food (the desserts were amazing!) and the other amenities were well done. Everyone helped to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Perfect Hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Alex. Ideal location for exploring Dublin and also close to Pearse station for the Dart to explore further afield. The rooms are modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean with the comfiest bed and pillows ever. Great choice at breakfast. Lobby is bright and an inviting spot to sit and relax. But what sets this hotel apart is the attentive and friendly staff who are a credit to the wonderful managerJamie. Simon on the front desk is a joy…always cheerful and never without a smile ! Only negative…we didn’t stay for longer!

Fabulous Hotel and outstanding customer service
Hi there I cannot recommend the Alex enough. Practicalities rooms, breakfast location all fabulous high quality. What really stood out was the service. I stayed for 3 nights with a friend who was celebrating a special birthday. I let the hotel know beforehand the reason for our stay. On arrival Simon on reception gave us the friendliest welcome I have ever received, and throughout our stay he was always very helpful and friendly recommending places to eat or visit - whatever you are paying him it's not enough! On arrival when we got to our room there was a wonderful welcome "birthday platter" with fruit, choc dipped strawberries and cheeses and a handwritten note wishing my friend a happy birthday and both of us an enjoyable stay, again stating to not hesitate to contact them if they could help in any way. All in all a brilliant stay and I would definitely book again. Jeanette & Fiona

Wonderful stay and great employees.
What a beautiful hotel. The rooms were lovely, and clean. We encountered wonderful people employed by the Alex. We arrived in the crack of dawn, after our TransAtlantic flight, and we were well taken care of by Kyle at the front desk. He was able to check us in 12 hours early! What wonderful, kind, and thoughtful man. Thank you Kyle. During the day, we had the pleasure of meeting Simon at the front. He was very pleasant, and fun to chat with. He helped us with all our requests with pleasure. Thank you Simon. You won’t be disappointed in this hotel.

Great Room!
Great location and setup of the suite was excellent! Spacious main bedroom and living room was curved with good space for rollaway bed for our son. Accessible to restaurant, pubs and parking. Would highly recommend for your Dublin stay! Very friendly staff!
