Feb 19, 2025Warm and Welcoming Space to BE!
A big group of us came here on a dance vacation, and the resort was extremely accommodating. The activities and entertainment were unique and fun (especially karaoke and the Mayan performance). There were SO many food options. The beach was comfortable and enjoyable, and the resort was easy to navigate. Great for all ages and abilities. The staff is the highlight though, particularly Captain Ricardo and his team (Mich, Caro, Antonio, and Rene). They are funny and kind and caring and work SO hard. They were lovely to have around throughout the week, and we enjoyed them very much. Staying here felt like we were staying with family.

Great Place to stay
Great place to relax and enjoy the sun and waves. Rooms were clean. Activities were great. Gym was up to par. Personell was very friendly. I will definitely be going back. The restaurants were great as well. Only think is I wish you had a lunch and dinner buffet versus just breakfast. The unlimited drinks was the cherry on top.

Don't expect much for your money. Great location. Excellent beach. Great staff. No management at all. Poor conditions of rooms. Nothing gets repaired, despite continuous complaints. The hotel looks like it needs a full makeover or a razing.

The beach
The beach access was wonderful. Sandy beach and not a lot of rocks. Wear water shoes due to coral. Beautiful sunset. The food was not the best and definitely would not choose this hotel if I was going for the food. With that being said the beach access and the ocean views made up for the food.

Food always cold, they won't fix repairs properly or change your room when you ask due to safety issues of water leaking through light fixtures. Wait staff was slow but nice. No variety of food and only one small, shallow pool. Website says so much more and rates it 4.5 stars. It's more like 1/2 a star and has nothing the website says as far as eminities.
