    Honest review from our vacation

The overall hotel is very clean . We expected to see water refill stations for your own travel yeti or whatever you use . that seems to be the norm at resorts now for environmental reasons but they still use plastic water bottles . There is very little nightlife or entertainment on the resort though . We walked around bored most days as well as the people we met while there and made our own fun . So if you like to relax during the day with a book or snorkel and go to bed early . I’d recommend this place for that . The snorkelling is great , the beach could be cleaned up a bit better by having all the rocks removed at the shore line to allow for easier access into the water(bring water shoes ) . The staff are friendly . The coffee shop is great . It’s advertised as 24hrs but it’s not . It opens at 6am . You’d expect more seafood and fresh fish in the ocean restaurant or buffet but it’s basic . Everything was fried in the buffet and although there was a beef , chicken , seafood grill area it was seldom used and the buffet was pretty much the same everyday for lunch and dinner with very little changes . Rooms are clean , although our fridge didn’t chill anything and our ac barely worked we were happy with the rooms cleanliness. The pillows are weird hard small squares that felt like it was throw cushion for a patio set . So ask for extra to stack and be more comfortable. The patio set on the balcony in the sunclub area is hard metal and would be so much more comfortable if cushions were placed on the seating area , Get up early to get a spot around the pool or beach . The sun club pool area is nice and quiet with lots of shaded areas as well as the beach . Overall I’d give this place a 6/10 . It’s a bit over priced for the value . Like there isn’t just a snack bar anywhere it’s buffet , or one of the restaurants so if you’d like a little snack and not a meal you’ll have to buy some from a store and keep in your room .. the mini fridge in sun club is stocked with approximately 3 bottles of water , 2 cans of coke and 2 sprite and 3 beers - in the sun club area . Not sure it’s worth the upgrade to do .

Sunny, fun-filled family getaway with great food, amazing entertainment, and unforgettable memories in Curaçao!

10/10 Family Vacation at Sunscape Curaçao! We just returned from an incredible week at Sunscape Curaçao and can’t say enough great things about our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The entertainment team was especially amazing—our kids were obsessed with bingo and loved all the fun activities throughout the day and into the evening. The food was solid overall, but our absolute favorite was the beachside grill in the evening—great food with the sound of the waves in the background, what more could you want? We also ventured off the resort to explore a bit. A short walk took us to Mambo Beach, where we visited the aquarium and had a delicious dinner at Boca’s. We also used the city shuttle to visit downtown Willemstad, which was beautiful, full of character, and felt safe to explore. Our room had great air conditioning (a huge win in the heat!), and the beds were super comfortable. Yes, the decor is a little dated, but honestly, that didn’t matter to us at all—we were there for the sun, the fun, and the memories, and Sunscape delivered on all fronts. Would absolutely come back again and again. Thanks for an unforgettable vacation!

Hotel needs updated and some of the staff needs to be friendlier.

Resort is in need of an update. Shower was either burning hot or freezing cold. Towels were exceptionally rough some of the days. Didn’t always have basics like straws and the correct drink ware for the drink. I had to drink wine out of a water glass. Some of the staff were rude. Need better signage communicating things like which days the restaurants are closed. That was a surprise to us. Swim up bar usually didn’t have a bartender. Ask for Verona at the Oceana restaurant, she was amazing!!

Wouldn't recommend overall- but great for snorkeling!

Wouldn't recommend. Room: Cockroaches. Toilets that either didn't stop running or wouldn't flush at all despite maintenance coming and "fixing" them" Sunclub: Not worth it. The check in experience was the only good part. There is supposed to be sunclub only seating however they don't enforce it so everyone flocks down there. There is also supposed to be an adult only pool- also not enforced. Food: Don't even bother thinking you're going to be eating good everyday. The meat is very overcooked and the buffet is basically just carb overload (pasta, potatoes, mashed potatoes, and rice) the breakfast at the buffet was good but every other meal wasn't. The blue water grill for dinner was foul. We did however enjoy the Italian dinner as the meat wasn't overcooked there- we went 2x. (Chicken parm, beef, and then the seafood pasta) we also LOVED the hibachi dinner. Beach: They say no reserving chairs but the only time you get a chair is if you're awake at the crack of dawn. The water itself was lovely and we did really enjoy snorkeling. So many fish! We did go sit through a presentation to get a free rental car so that we could go to the national park on the west end and it was worth it!

    Relaxing resort

We enjoyed the relaxing feel of the resort. Food was delicious...nice variety... there was a separate area for children's menu. Variety of activities at night and during the day...for whole family. The staff was excellent...very helpful and friendly. Safe environment.
