Feb 19, 2025Great experience except for the noise
First the positives. The staff was amazing. Truly world class in every area, from housekeeping to dining, we had no complaints. The hotel is very clean and though dated a little, they are actively updating. The gym and pool are also top-rate. The location is also really good for just about every activity. There is also plenty of parking if you need it, at $45. The negatives…. I am a lifetime Platinum and current Titanium member. Needless to say, I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. This is the most consistently noisy hotel I have ever stayed at. It’s louder than the airport hotels I have stayed. The music from the adjoining properties, especially on the west side is just too much. I am on the 24th floor and it’s constant bass, even right now at 1135pm. I know the Sheraton doesn’t control the outside noise, but this is ridiculous. Maybe some additional sound proofing? Or maybe put young people on the west side… I’m not sure. What am sure of is I will never stay in a room on the west side again.

Feb 15, 2025Best hotel stay in the Ainahau Toweru tower
Having avoided staying here for many years, we decided to follow advice from flight attendents who stay here. We have stayed at all the Marriott properties in Waikiki and now we know we missed out by not staying here. When we checked in, our interaction with Celeste confirmed we had not made a mistake. She was the perfect representative for the hotel and Marriott. Our room and view in Ainahau tower was amazing. The staff throughout the hotel could not have been nicer. The music in lounge and pool area was just right. We look forward to many return stays at this property.

I completed the Medallia review but forgot to shout out two associates who had great spirit of aloha, Celeste at the Front Desk, Ashley at Splash Bar, Lorna the Housekeeper, and there was a Bellman on Saturday evening that helped us take our towels back to the towel hut after we came back from the north shore. I didn't get a chance to catch his name. Thankful for their great customer service!

Lovely
Lovely hotel and perfect location. We were in the new renovated Ahani (sic) tower. The room had all we needed. Nice size frig. 3 elevators working and only 1 time we waited for more 4 min. All staff is amazing. Lance at Splash Bar breakfast is Thee Man. Other than breakfast which was included with our package the other meal at the hotel and app and drink the first night. FYI the included breakfast was not a buffet. Service was awesome. Pool was a nice size and not crowded. Great location. ABC store nearby as well as Target. Plenty of great restaurants as well. We would stay here again.

Jan 19, 2025One of the worst-run properties I've experienced
As a Bonvoy Platinum Elite member for over a decade, this has to be one of the worst-run properties I've experienced. There was no hot water in the shower, but hot water was available at the sink. One or two elevators were not working, leading to 15-minute wait times to get down from the 28th floor. The walls and adjoining room doors are paper thin, so had to listen to the guy next door snore all night. The bar service was not friendly. To top it off, a late checkout was not granted. Where is the manager? Do they even walk the property to see what's going on? Save your money y'all.
