Feeling the Aloha
We returned for our fourth year in a row to what has become our “Hawaiian home away from home” because of the warm, welcoming staff and all the aloha spirit they share! The Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort continues to provide the comfort and ease that we seek while visiting Kauai. It’s location is wonderful being centrally located on the island and close to the local gems found in Kapaa. Mahalo to Barbara, Justin, Reggie, Lissa, Cedric, James, Priscilla, Kaitlyn, and Gloria for making us feel extra special again during our stay. A hui hou and much aloha!

We will be back
Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort I stayed here for one week :) The hotel is located in the Kapaa area, right next to the Coconut Marketplace, which is a very convenient area with Safeway, drugstores, ABC Store, and Ross nearby. This is a beachfront property with a beautiful pool, hot tub, private seating areas with beach chairs and umbrellas, and even hammocks—perfect for relaxing. Check-in: We arrived close to 1 AM, and the check-in process was okay. The agent seemed fine but perhaps less enthusiastic due to the late hour. I had five suite upgrade nights and asked if an upgrade was possible, but the agent mentioned it was hard to accommodate since I was staying for seven nights. Breakfast: As a Platinum member, I chose the breakfast option. While the breakfast itself was good, the servers and hosts could provide more smiles and a warmer, welcoming atmosphere to enhance the experience. A special thanks to James, the food and beverage manager, who kindly got me fresh papaya when they ran out—it’s my favorite, and I really appreciated the gesture. Staff Highlights: I’d like to mention a few staff members who stood out during my stay: • David: Provided excellent service, listened to my concerns, and immediately offered solutions to make my stay more comfortable. • Kayla: Made fantastic shave ice and hosted a fun painting class where we painted kites. • Charlie: Always cheerful and made amazing omelets at breakfast. • James: The food and beverage manager was a pleasure to meet and went out of his way to make my experience special. Overall: We enjoyed the hotel and loved the ocean-view room, pool, and beachfront areas. A few staff members truly enhanced our experience and would definitely bring us back. However, I hope to see more smiles and welcoming attitudes from other staff when interacting with guests around the property.

Poor internet and inconvenient
terrible service hotel, computer system was down for 2 days when we arrived on Dec 14, 2024. we can’t even get a room key, everytime we have to ask someone come up to open the room for us. also, internet wifi was super super slow! the worse thing is you can’t use internet provided from the hotel and you can’t have a room key for your room. they still charged us resort fees!!!!!! unbelievable! won’t recommend anyone stay at this hotel. very disappointed!

Kauai is beautiful and this resort is amazing!
Our family just got back from a weeks stay here. The resort is absolutely lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but why stay in the room? They have an exotic mai tai at the pool bar, and Kyle our bartender was gracious enough to give us the recipe. If there's a downside maybe I'd advise avoiding parking under palm trees in the front as your car will covered in bird poop next day.

Aloha spirit in Kauai
What a great hotel. We had a wonderful time at the Sheraton Coconut Beach Resort. The property is very clean and the staff, Deo, Micah, Ipo and Virgie are full of Aloha Spirit! We could not have selected a better resort to celebrate a family wedding. The property was beautiful and the pools, whirlpool and ocean setting were terrific. We enjoyed tasty food and drinks during breakfast and at the pool bar. I enjoyed this resort more than other higher priced properties in Hawaii! Stop looking and book your reservation here, now!
