  Experiencia agridulce

  Primero que nada hicimos reservación en el hotel en la cual explicaron que habría torneo de tenis y la disponibilidad era nula, accedimos y nos dieron los dos primeros días una bonita habitación, llegado el lunes teníamos que salir e irnos a otro cuarto, nos mandaron al club que está nefasto, teníamos todo incluido y en los refrigeradores no había ni siquiera una botella de agua, mi madre en silla de ruedas vagando por todo el hotel, en la otra habitación no servía el aire y las demás olían a humedad, literal parecía una funeraria; me dirigí al hotel y le supliqué a la gerente en turno, una chica muy amable y le expliqué la situación e hizo todo lo posible para regresar al hotel, pasamos una excelente semana hasta que llegó el jueves. Un día antes de salir, para ser exactos el 29 de marzo del 2025 necesitaba salir por medicamentos para mi madre y no podía entrar a mi vehículo porque había dos camionetas estacionadas en lugar para autos chicos, por ende era imposible entrar a mi coche, busqué al gerente en turno que por cierto muy grosero y nefasto, le pedí que voceara a los propietarios y se negó, argumentando que no era su responsabilidad, y solo se ofreció a poner su mano entre la puerta de mi coche y el otro vehículo para no rayarlo o golpearlo, yo no cabía por ese lugar y de pilón me dijo que le llamaría a una persona más delgada para que intentara ingresar a mi vehículo, a lo que llegó más molestia de mi parte y le pedí a él que mientras yo ponía la mano él se metiera, gracias a su empatía mi coche si fue golpeado por los otros vehículos, cosa que no se hicieron responsables y no pude salir por los medicamentos

  The people make a difference!

  We have stayed at this location before and love it when we have a view of the ocean. The room was not totally clean at first but we called in to the desk and it was taken care of immediately. The poolside service was excellent and the food was average. What made the experience really great however was the activity personnel, especially Mariana. She has a gift of making connections with guests, remembering their names and conversations she has had with them. She brings laughter and joy to the activities with her quick wit and personal connection. She is a key person on the team. If you are visiting at this hotel, encourage the staff with compliments for their commitment to people and service. The towel guy Josue is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is a great conversationalist with fluency in Spanish and English and even French at a beginning level. These are the people that make coming to a place special.

  Great Service, But Not Enough to Make Up for the Rest

  The service was friendly and felt genuine, though food and drink service could’ve been a bit more attentive. We had to switch rooms because the AC in our first room wouldn’t go below 24°C. The rooms were clean, and the beds fairly comfortable. The pool was a highlight — perfect temperature to stay in all day, even when it was cooler outside. Drinks were underwhelming and became monotonous quickly. The room had a smart TV, but it wasn’t connected to the internet. When I called the front desk, they said I had to pay extra just to connect — not for streaming, but just to use basic features like AirPlay. This was a major letdown, especially considering the price we paid for a week-long stay. We couldn't even use the TV when we wanted to unwind in the evenings. The biggest disappointment was the food. We tried every all-inclusive restaurant, and the only standout dish was the Baja shrimp tacos at Punta Sal. The buffet was repetitive and lacked variety — mainly stewed dishes every day, which felt heavy and unappealing in the humid weather. Even basics like pico de gallo had to be requested. The food became so monotonous that we ended up dining out over half the time, which really defeats the purpose of an all-inclusive resort. While we did enjoy parts of our stay, we won’t be returning. We travel frequently and have experienced many resorts, and unfortunately, this one didn’t live up to expectations.

  Darts

  Mariana invited us to the darts tournament and very fun the game we were like 10 people and I beat them I loved it, we also took very rich caramels with the liquor and flamingos very rich we took the dance class also very fun and tired.
