Great holiday - preferred club and butler service made a difference.
Our holiday at Secrets Wild Orchid did not disappoint, I would not worry about any negative reviews that you have read. Tipping is not essential, but can be appreciated, all the staff worked hard to ensure you have a good holiday. There are a few people who stood out for us, Sherman one of the porters, Christine in the world cafe, Will in Portofino and Rose-Ann at Altitude. Our holiday was made more special as we did have butler service, Kenroy and Duran were amazing and always there when you needed them, the little touches really did go a long way for us. The rooms are good and the gardens beautiful. We enjoyed all the restaurants except Bordeaux, just not for us. If you can go to the Altitude bar, we were lucky to get reservations from Kenroy and Duran, we thought it was fabulous. We thought the preferred club was worth it, the minibar was not always topped up as it should be, but this was a minor niggle. We did a few excursions through Amstar and these were good, also visited the jungle swamp safari that was very interesting, the guide was knowledgable and passionate. Jamaica - one love - thank you to the Secrets team at Wild Orchid. Paul & Tracy

All you could ask for!
A Truly Memorable Stay at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay, Jamaica! From the moment we touched down in Jamaica and met up with our private car from Reggae Tours our excitement for the long-awaited trip, we enjoyed the Jamaican hospitality. As we arrived at Secrets Wild Orchid resort, we pulled up to lush grounds, breathtaking ocean views, and elegant design set the scene — but it was the staff who truly made our stay unforgettable. Curtis helped us with our bags getting out of the car and we were promptly greeted with a genuine smile and refreshing drinks by our preferred club manager, Regina. She was efficient, warm, and incredibly helpful. We arrived in the morning when check in wasn't until 3pm, but she encouraged us to explore the grounds and grab some food but to not go too far because they were working to get our room ready for us as soon as possible. Within 10 minutes, she came to advise us that our room was ready and to introduce us to our butlers, Davion and Andre, who were both incredible. The butlers really put the trip over the top. They gave us a programmed cell phone that goes directly to them and took care of anything and everything that we needed. From reserving chairs at the pools or beach, booking our excursions, ordering cars, making reservations for dinner, or bringing food/room service to wherever we were, they took care of it all and encouraged us to let them know whatever we needed! Great restaurant options were just steps from our part of the resort including Jamaican, Italian, French, Mexican and hibachi cuisine. All were amazing. There was fun entertainment every night with live music and dancing, and the highlight of most nights was the piano bar, with Andre leading the music and encouraging requests and for all to sing along. The bartenders at the piano bar, the nightclub Desires and all of the pools were the absolute best. Phil, Shaneqia Akim, Junior, Wilton and O'Bryan were just a few who not only gave great service, but really made you feel at home and entertained you along the way. We loved giving them the freedom of concocting drinks of their choice, but also stuck some favorites like Purple Rain....YUM! Don't miss out on the spa. We had amazing massages from Janice and Amanda who intuitively understood the exact pressure and technique we needed, and left us feeling like we were floating. We both also really enjoyed the hydro-therapy experience (trust me). We ventured over to the Breathless resort several times during our stay, which is on the same property. Those grounds are also spectacular including a rooftop bar, restaurant and pool. We enjoyed the night life where we were led by Sky and her team members. We honestly can;t say enough about Secrets Wild Orchid and their exceptional staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Jamaica.

Secrets Wild Orchid Resorts and Spas
Excellent property as far as the staff and scenery. I was disappointed with the food. I suggested on my survey for the resort to offer Tomahawk Steak/Lobster packages prior to guests completing their travel expenses/contracts. Also we told the staff that we were there to relax and not buy excursions or anything else. So after awhile we were left alone. But again the staff was awesome and very, very personal and professional.

Beach views of the beach but not best experience in the room or at the resort.
I loved the beach and pool. I loved my oceanfront room. The housekeeping services were the worst. They didn't clean the room good. Linen were not tucked under mattress. I only left 2 towels and washcloths per cleaning. My tub never got cleaned so I couldn't use it. The local drivers will overcharge you for local services. I paid $60 just to go to the market and KFC. I also paid $60 just to go to Pier 1. The entertainment was okay. Some of the drinks were watered down. The buffet was basic and not enough options for breakfast. One of the restaurants by the pool food didn't have taste. The Asian restaurant food didn't have taste and one of the cooks were very annoying by being too entertaining and it took too long for the food. I can cook better hibachi at home. I don't think I will return to this resort but I didn't like Jamaica. Traveled April 2025.

50th birthday holiday
Myself and my husband stayed for 2 weeks in the preferred swim up room. The room was lovely lots of storage. Mini fridge and snacks topped up daily. Turn down service when u want it. We also had two buttlers for the 2 weeks we were there Duran and Kenroy . You could not ask for two more amazing people they went above and beyond trying to make the holiday special. When it was my birthday they decorated the room brought a cake nothing was ever to much they amazing. They had about 6 different restaurants that you could eat at in the evening, being a preferred member allowed u to reserve a table at each restaurant that you wanted to eat at which is a benefit as some night non benefit guest were waiting for a table quiet a while. Food was lovely several options on each section. Dress code for restaurants was smart casual, I.e men could wear smart shorts with colored t-shirt women anything. Entertainment was good variety plus nightclub from 10pm.
