Nov 19, 2024Feel pampered and immediately relaxed at this beautiful resort with an amazing team!
Joel and Jair made sure we had a magical day at Secrets. They made sure we were accommodated in every way from helping with check in, getting us settled by the pool, coordinating spa treatments…we felt pampered and taken care of. My friend is a member but we were on a cruise and just had a day pass and Joel and Jair made it extra special!

Fun Day Stay
We came to this resort on a day pass during a cruise port day. We were greeted by Joel and taken down to the pool area and shown all of the amenities. He got us towels and chairs all together and he continued to check in on us throughout the day. Our server, Manuel, made sure we always had drinks and made us a lunch reservation at the pool-side restaurant. We had the best day relaxing here and will definitely be back to stay here for a longer vacation.

Best resort in PV
This resort was amazing! JOEL took such good care of us. We came here on a day pass and they spoiled us! Will definitely come back! We had the best time here, the food, the service and the resort was outstanding. We spent the entire day here and they spoiled us

Amazing Staff and Property
Once again, I am late in writing this review. We had an amazing time in early October, as always. In fact, I’ve lost count of how many times we have stayed at Secret Vallarta Bay (SVB) since its grand opening, but it’s somewhere around thirty, and they never disappoint. We had the pleasure of staying in the Preferred tower in an Ocean Front Master Suite on this most recent visit. The room was like having our own apartment in PV (sans kitchen), and the balcony space and view were outstanding, with unbelievable sunsets. Over the years we have gotten to know many of the team members at SVB, and one stands out above them all, Nirvana. She is a leader in the Preferred tower and is the epitome of the service that SVB strives to provide. She truly cares and you can feel that from the moment you meet her. She and her team take great care of the guests. In all the years we have been visiting SVB, seeing Nirvana is always a major highlight and we honestly consider her a friend. Our housekeeper, Elisabeth, kept the room spotless and organized every day, and Ana’s turndown service was spot on! Both were very professional and friendly and represented SVB very well. The first few evenings, Jocelyn was the bartender in the Preferred lounge. We got to know her a little when meeting friends there before heading to dinner. She is a true joy! Great bartender, friendly and professional. She is very proud of her son, and we enjoyed hearing about him. And the food… We spent several mornings having breakfast at Market Café. Humberto, Cesar, Wendy and the entire staff were fantastic. Most days we had eggs made to order, and they were perfect each time. There are a lot of options in Market Café, so we mixed it up a few times and everything was delicious. We enjoyed Oceana for lunch a couple of afternoons when taking a break from the pool. Monica has that place running smoothly. We had a large group there for dinner one night and I think we put them to the test! They were wonderful and handled us with grace under pressure. Capers was also a great experience. We had a sizable group in the wine room, and we received top notch service. I am sorry I don’t recall the servers’ names, but the service was impeccable, and the food was awesome! A big thanks to Francisco for asking us to come see him at Capers during every visit! It’s well worth it. The place we always dine the most though, is Bordeaux. We missed seeing Martin on this visit, but the team took great care of us in his absence. For most dinners at Bordeaux during this trip we were in the wine room with a large group and Alfonso, Israel and Chef delivered a fined dining experience that really impressed. Overall, the experience with Food and Beverage was great! Andrea is doing a wonderful job in helping lead this team. Kudus to her and the entire F&B team! During the day we enjoyed being at the activities pool as it is a little quieter and we enjoyed the entertainment. There are several team members who we need to call out for their work to serve guests. Jaime (Jimmy), Joel, Dani and Armondo made sure everyone was having a good time and taken care of. And the service around the pools is great! The staff helps guests find chairs and moves umbrellas around to make guests happy. We enjoyed excellent service from Manuel, Miguel, Juan, Edgar, Omar and Afonso during our stay. They checked on us often and we observed them going above and beyond for numerous guests. I can’t mention the pool area without calling out the grounds. They are well maintained and cared for by an amazing team. We had the pleasure of talking to Luis (Lucho) almost daily. He and the team work tirelessly and take great care not to interrupt the guests’ experience. It was great to see other team members we have known for years: Ilcia: She has an amazing attitude about life and is just a joy to talk to. Jairo: He is a great representative for SVB as the Manager on Duty and remains friendly and visible to guests. Brayan: Another great representative for SVB in Member Services. As I think you can see, we highly recommend SVB; it’s beautiful and the staff make it amazing!

Excellent hotel and customer service beyond words!
Our trip to secrets Vallarta bay was wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, so many places to eat, the food is delicious and everyone one was extremely kind! Jose Becerra, carlos Miranda, Carmina, Israel, Daniel, Felipe and Antonio were so kind, helped us with pretty much anything and everything. We have traveled to other secrets hotels before but this with the attention given to us, was by far the best one! Thanks for everything!!
