We had a wonderful stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta. The resort is beautiful and had many great food options. We can't say enough positive things about our butler Carlos Miranda. He was amazing and made our stay so much better than we could have ever expected. He is by far the best butler that we have had at any Secrets resort and had made this resort one that we are planning to return to in the future.

Adrian was fantastic
Service was excellent! Adrian & Marnay at the market cafe was awesome! Cannot wait to go back. Adrian is the man! If you go into the market cafe please ask for him. All the food was great. Service around the pool was great. Orlando at the crepe place is fantastic as well.

Mar 24, 2025Gorgeous Resort, Amazing Staff & Vibes — A Few Tweaks Would Make It Perfect
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta and can’t wait to return! This resort is a true gem — the location right on the ocean is unbeatable, and the vibe throughout the property is lively, fun, and relaxing all at once. The pool areas and bars are stunning, with incredible views, a great selection of drinks, and a super friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to meet other guests and have a blast. The breakfasts and lunches, especially by the pool, were fresh, tasty, and hit the spot every day. A major highlight of our trip was the entertainment team, especially Armando, the Entertainment Director. Armando went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having fun — from engaging daily activities to fabulous shows and dancing each night, he kept the energy high and spirits even higher. He truly made our stay unforgettable! Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a fantastic jetted tub and jaw-dropping views of the ocean. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day in the sun. Of course, like any place, there are a few areas that could be improved to take this resort to the next level: Dinner service was the biggest miss for us. The food quality in the restaurants didn’t live up to the rest of the experience — it was often served cold and lacked flavor. For future visits, we’ll likely enjoy dinners off property, where the local cuisine really shines. While the room was large and luxurious, some of the furniture felt tired and in need of updating. We would have loved a few more late-night entertainment options for adults — perhaps a lounge, live music, or themed party to keep the energy going after the shows. Bars opening at 10am felt a bit late, especially for guests who want to enjoy a mimosa or vacation cocktail earlier in the day. Overall, this is a gorgeous resort with amazing staff, top-notch service, and an unbeatable vibe. A few enhancements would make it truly world-class — but even as-is, it’s a fabulous getaway spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic stay at Secrets Puerto Vallarta
Carlos Miranda and Jose Becerra provided fantastic service throughout the duration of our stay in Puerto Vallarta. My husband Tom and I felt very comfortable, cared for, and were amazed at how responsive Carlos and Jose were to our needs and requests.We would come back to visit in a heartbeat, and they were a big part of us coming to that conclusion.

Wonderful experience with amazing service, great food and beautiful views. Would absolutely recommend vacationing here.
The staff really makes the experience here, every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The food was spot on every time at every restaurant, you can tell the kitchen staff really cares and takes pride in their work. Absolutely will be back.
