We came back to Secrets the Vine for one reason only: Angel in the cabanas. He is like family to us now, we are so thankful for his kindness and professionalism. Other staff of mention: Luis at the bar, Beth and Ruby, Norberto, Alberto, Alejandro, Juan, Miguel, all spectacular. The entire staff is amazing!

Exceptional Resort and Service was Top Notch!
What an amazing resort and exceptional service. We went to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Service was top notch that made his birthday weekend. Aldo, Therma (butlers on 28th floor) the best. They made sure we got everything we needed. Angel and Alejandro (pool cabana) Angel made us special reservation for us in 2 places one was the chief experience and the other was the with Alejandro for Mexican dinner at the Market Cafe. Both were the best and amazing. My husband loves Mexican. He was so full and happy. Alberto & Roberto(waiters from our pool cabana made sure we had everything and always checking if we were good. Diego(entertainment) so funny and entertaining. I was so entertained by him. All of them were so accommodating when my husband interviewed them for his YouTube. They ALL treated us like family. My husband wants to go back due to the Exceptional Service! The only complaint I have is the lobby and Market Cafe is HOT! I saw the reviews about the heat but I was hoping it was going to be fixed before I got there.

Food quality amazing, staff also amazing and very attentive. Cannot day same for management. Pics on website of preferred club pool area is false advertising along with vine bar terrace outside bar which never opened unless for private event. Cafe great, amazing cakes and danish pastries. Steak restaurant great with first class food and cocktails. Very clean hotel. No air con in main part of hotel which made evening drinks in vine bar very warm! Piano bar is tired with a fusty smell...looks very different to pics

Terrible food, below average as many other reviews mentioned, the first floor is so hot that you can't stay there for more than 20 minutes, you will sweat like a pig. Preferred room is a joke, drinks tastes like there is no alcohol on them, i had to go out and buy my own wine since the don silvestre wine they have is the worst wine i ever tried in my existence. i will never book here again, this was my anniversary, and i can tell you it was a complete nightmare.

Great stay
We had a great stay. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of our trip was our meal at Dragons. Our waiter, Gabriel, was amazing. He went out of his way to make our dinner memorable. Chef Isidro prepared an incredible meal for us, starting with delicious sushi, then appetizers, and one of the best filets I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and go to Dragons and ask for Gabriel. You won’t regret it.
