Jan 19, 2025Great time away, but... this Secrets isn't quite 5 star quality
A lovely small resort in the Hotel Zone in Cancun. The service was excellent, and the entertainment was very good (nightly show) as well. We found the food quality wasn't as good as other Secrets/Breathless (same Hyatt chain) we have stayed at. The menus certainly have enough for all to choose from, but nothing really was served "hot". Everything was rather "warm". We had a lumpy mattress, but with a quick chat at the front desk, they swiftly replaced the mattress within the same day. While we enjoyed our week in the sun, we likely won't return to this particular resort nor would we highly recommend to others.

Pool activities were very fun! Pedro took excellent care of us and walked us through aqua fit. Then he took us on a private chefs lunch with chef Rolando! It was amazing, such a wonderful experience ❤️. Wait service was fantastic, Alberto at the beach was the best. Always bringing us what we needed, water and cocktails!! MAURICIO our butler was the best!!! Always there for anything we needed. Many small things we needed that he was right there for us. Excellent communication, checked us out promptly, brought anything we needed. He was the best ever!!! I will return!

Great stay
The staff made you feel welcome from arrival to departure. Many staff members went above and beyond but I would like to specifically thank Alejandro at Dragons, Claudia and Angel at the pool and Mauricio for his butler service. Rooms were nice and clean. Will definitely come back

Excellent service & staff !!
Excellent holiday !! Room spacious and clean and maid service excellent ! Pools are great and pool service excellent ! All restaurants are delicious and top notch food & service ! the staff can’t do enough for you and all with friendly chat and smiles ! Victor and Jose in the Olio restaurant went above and beyond every time we visited - they made each visit so special - amazing guys ! Will definitely return soon ! Thank you to everyone at the resort !

Great 10 day getaway
My wife and I spent the last 10 days at Secrets The Vine and had a great time. Our 27th floor room was renovated, clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the ocean and Cancun. The food was very good with plenty of options and the service throughout this resort was excellent. We will be returning to this hotel again
