Amazing Get Away
Very fancy and clean resort! The rooms were spotless and very fancy. The views around the resort were breathtaking, with all of the landscaping and natural views of the ocean. Drink and food service were outstanding, I highly recommend trying all the different restaurants and bars. Room service was fast and very tasty. If you are at the pool make sure and find Anthony he's the man! Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend!

Great all- inclusive resort
Beautiful resort with great pools and a very large beach. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Being adults only was a big draw for us as well. We booked limo rides to and from the airport for a very reasonable price, which further elevated the experience. We highly recommend this place!

Our New Favourite Secrets Resort
Our new favourite Secrets resort (Akumal remains a close second)! The resort and rooms are beautiful, the restaurants, selection and food are great, there are endless drink options and always a drink-of-the-day, and always a pool option for whatever kind of day / atmosphere you are looking for. We stayed Preferred and were in Building 3 and highly recommend both. Eddy and Miguel were our Butlers / Concierges and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay, anticipated needs, were always available, provided daily WhatsApp resort updates, coordinated a Valentine's Day surprise and also helped coordinate our late check-out and transfers to the airport on departure. I can't say enough good things about both of them and would request them again if and when we return. One of the nice perks with Preferred is the breakfast at Seaside each morning. The setting and views at Seaside are incredible and the food and service are top notch. The manager and all of the staff there are great and you can tell they take great pride in the restaurant, but have to give a special shout out to Sixto who is an incredibly hard worker, has a great personality and just does an all around great job. We requested him specifically for numerous breakfasts and lunches at Seaside and look forward to seeing him again if and when we return. Beautiful resort and we miss it already!

Excellent Couples Trip
We stayed at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres with another couple and all had a blast! We stayed in building 9, floor 3, with partial ocean view. We were upgraded at check-in due to our Hyatt status, which was a nice surprise. We had an excellent concierge in our building - Carlos - who helped us out with anything we needed (inflating flotation devices we brought, booking spa services, my husband ordering flowers for V-day, etc.). He even sent my husband daily whats app messages summarizing some of the activities/events that day, and sharing some fun drinks of the day (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The rooms were lovely (lots of wood and rope elements) and clearly pretty new. AC worked well, room wasn't humid, loved the room service box (tip: if you want the room service box used for delivery, press your "do not disturb" button ahead of time). Mini bar included soft drinks, water and beer. The food not stellar, but it was solid. We could always find something we enjoyed. El Patio was my favorite restaurant, as well as our night at hibachi (always so fun/entertaining). The hibachi food was excellent as was the show -- but can be hard to book. You can only book the day of -- and we got lucky one morning that there were spots left -- both us and our friends were able to go the same night. We loved having 24-hr access to coffee and ice cream at the Cafe Coco. My husband and I got great massages at the spa and enjoyed the hydrotherapy as well (we got the hydrotherapy complimentary; I would've been disappointed with it if we had paid the standard rate). We spent the majority of our time at the social pool and participated in many of the various activities the entertainment team spearheads throughout the day. Aquafit, Pool Volleyball, Pool Aerobics (my fave - with Erica!), crazy games, etc. The whole entertainment team was fabulous, but Benny was our favorite and he made us feel like part of the family! We also enjoyed several dips in the ocean (there was a fair amount of what seemed like grass clippings in the water, but otherwise, was very beautiful). We didn't make it to all of the evening entertainment, but we LOVED the silent disco. I love to dance, so I figured I would, but even my husband and friend (who generally do not dance) loved it! We ended up going a second night later in the week because it was SO much fun! Overall great resort with lovely staff!

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres 2025
My husband and I went here as an alternative to our booked St Lucia Secrets that didn’t open on time. We had a great experience , food was great, our favorites were Oceana Seafood (Luis was phenomenal), Himitsu, Bordeux (french cuisine). Pool side live music in early evenings. Morning yoga, fitness center was good (a little too warm) . The theatre had shows but it was not air conditioned and we found it too hot to sit and watch. The theatre has recessed floors that are a step down, (all same color floor) not marked, several people fell because of this. Live music at the Rendeveaux almost every night. CoCo cafe open 24 hours, coffee, desserts, wraps, croissants, etc. The preferred lounge and bar had exceptional staff! We had a preferred room swim out ( make sure your swim out room gets sun)! Eduardo Policarpio and Eddy were our butlers and took care of our every need.
