great vacation! pros & cons
as a solo traveler, i prefer all-inclusive properties for safety reasons. this was one of my favorites. pros: 1. excellent service - everyone was lovely and it was easy to i work directly with my concierge carlito for transportation and other requests. and i loved the room service option - the food was better than expected. cons: 1. not enough seafood - i expected more options. i paid $85 for the lobster, which was fine not great. 2. DO NOT get the hydrotherapy package. this was probably the worst spa treatment i have ever had in my entire life. for one thing, it’s stressful - you are basically forced to try all these different spa features in a certain succession. i was told to shower, then sauna, then shower, then steam, then shower again then moved through multiple jet features of the pool. it would be better to show the person what’s available and them give them the to option to use them at their preferred pace. but what was most uncomfortable for me was the fact that my guide was a man. it was just me and him for the majority of the time, which was a little uncomfortable. i recommend women give the tour to women, can males can give them to men and/or couples. one thing that i did NOT like was my guide asking me if i was traveling alone or worth my husband. not sure why that’s relevant and it isn’t something that makes a solo traveler feel safe. i was also told i would have the area to myself and a bunch of loud people who obviously knew each other ruined my serenity.

Awesome relaxing place to get RR
Very beautiful place with a great layout on the pools and beach. Staff was incredible and easy to work with but also felt like they strived to make your stay easier and better at every moment. We went in February but for weather purposes might want to consider April - May

Wonderful 15th Anniversary
Our trip to Secrets Punta Cana was great. From the minute we got there we were treated absolutely wonderful. From Daniela helping us with our membership to our concierge Louis who was just Fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary vacation. Mary and Alexandria at the Cafe are the sweetest people that made the best iced coffees and teas, and Jose made delicious omelets and the staff for breakfast went over and beyond. We truly were so sad when we left. Hopefully we can visit again and we certainly told all our friends that they have to visit this resort. And the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because when we had our romantic dinner on the beach my New York strip steak was cooked medium and I asked for medium well and when we had breakfast in our room they forgot my hubby's bacon. Other than that wonderful vacation!

Great holiday
So we visited Secrets Cap Cana in early February for 2 weeks. For a starters the whole resort was beautiful, modern decor and well maintained. We sampled all the restaurants and loved the menu choices, and everything we ate was very good, we especially loved oceana for the seafood. The staff make this place amazing, very attentive to your every need, and our concierge was especially helpful. The choice of drinks was plentiful and we had many a good night sat at the lobby bar. Our only criticism was they seem to have lots of conferences going on, which in general didn’t interfere at all with our holiday, until the last few days of our trip, were there seemed to be an extremely large conference where two restaurants were closed on 2 different evenings, and our meals although very good, the service seemed very rushed between courses to other nights, which may have been a staffing issue as on those nights, the hotel held 2 evenings in the buffet restaurant for the conference guests. This also resulted in the lobby bar being to busy later in the evenings. Would we return, yes we would, just wouldn’t want our experience of the last few nights to last the whole of our holiday

Johnstone Dealer Trip
This was our second trip to Secrets Cap Cana with the Johnstone Supply Dealers. The resort is very clean and grounds are well kept. Staff were very friendly. All of our meals were great, from the buffet to the evening dinning. We can't wait to return.
