Best crepes ever!
Amazing crepes. Beautiful and very tasty! Bernardo is very nice as well! I added cream cheese, mini chocolate chips, strawberries and pecans with sweetened/condensed milk. He topped it off with chocolate, pecans and powdered sugar. Delish!

For Tourists not Travelers
The staff is amazing. Whoever is training them should receive a raise! The systems are so silo’d and so not efficient from a customer perspective. Ideal for those who want a US -Like experience in Mexico. Great for a break, but hard to find healthy food without improvising. Lots of sugar and watered down drinks according to one person. Not recommended for surfers. The hotel doesn’t allow Surfboard deliveries so if you do want to surf the wave out front you’re better off staying at the Palladium, which is a bit older, but also a bit more authentic. I let the Kayak guide should be rewarded for following the rules so strictly that he wouldn’t let me use a small piece of surfing wax that was sitting on the shelf. He said it wasn’t his department. One guy in the surf shop today was super helpful and the thinner one seemed bothered by questions while looking at his phone. Overall the staff went way out for their way to try to help. Tip for continual improvement - get a juice bar for the people who can’t eat so much sugar and unhealthy oils.

Friendliest staff and amazing views
Too many good things to say about this resort so I want to make sure I give Rousse Ligero the majority of the review! She was the sweet girl that greeted us on the 8th floor as we were headed to the pool! She met us once, never forgot our names, and was the kindest person and deserves so much credit for making our visit the best! I’m a girl who prefers straws with my frozen drinks and we couldn’t find any one day while we were at the pool. The next day Rousse brought me three packages of the cutest straws! She went after work and bought me straws just to have for the rest of my stay. No plastic straws, cute girly twisty straws! I know that seems very trivial and like such a thing of insignificance, but the fact that this girl went above and beyond deserves recognition and she really did make my day/stay! Every staff member there was amazing! Our bartenders on the 8th floor, Rosa at the main bar, and Frida all are wonderful people and made our first trip to PV a trip we’ll never forget! The only critique I have of this place goes to our travel agent, not the resort. My husband and I were very specific about wanting a resort that was kid free and while Dreams and Secrets try very hard to keep them separate, it’s definitely not kid free. Pay the upgrade fee to be able to use the 6th and 8th floor pools if you’d like a kid free day. The views are amazing!! We felt very safe taking an Uber on our own to the main part of the city that’s almost an hour car ride away, but so worth it! The food is something I still think about, especially the French and Italian restaurant. Room service was quick, the staff was so friendly, the options and variety for breakfast were great, and we had so much fun listening to the live music in the evenings! It was a wonderful trip and we would definitely go back!!

A wonderful place to stay for your next vacation
This resort is wonderful for a relaxing vacation. The service is amazing and the food is fabulous! Whale-watching from the swim-up bar is a must. UVC rep Gina was wonderful - very responsive and communicated daily. Yoliana at the Spa is very nice and provides a very relaxing massage. I plan to return again next year

Beautiful, secluded but too crowded and too loud
Room was comfy and resort has great views esp. during whale season but it is quite difficult to get places due to location of elevators and steps (or lack there of). Also it was way too loud after noon until after 10p. Everything echoes and the pools are so loud that it reverbs through the whole resort. Too many weddings and large groups make restaurant lines long, limit options and limit rooms esp upgrades. Not worth the increased pricing as of this year. Plus it's too far from town.
