From the moment we arrived till the time we left the Customer Service at Akiel was absolutely the best! The first time in Cancun and our experience just wants me to come back for more. Everyone at this resort was so nice and so helpful. If we ever need a directions, we were treated with respect! Thank you, Akeel personnel for a great time!

Fantastic Staff, Beautiful Resort!
Fantastic resort, amazing staff (Miguel, Cruz, Carla, Carlos, Max, Abraham... and so many more), food was good. Dress code is annoying, but it is what it is! I would definitely stay here again. The ocean is beautiful. We had no issues getting seating at the pool or beach, plenty of chairs and they do a great job ensuring people aren't over reserving chairs! Very well organized.

Love this place
My wife and I attended a wedding and were totally impressed with the resort. The staff, services, restaurants, room, and property were awesome. We splurged and upgraded to an ocean view room - totally worth the price. The staff to guest ratio is crazy high and they are all super helpful.

Best time ever
We really enjoyed our vacation. Friendly staff. Rooms are amazing. The pools and swim up are was really cool. A lot of nice restaurants. We bought the membership so we can keep going back. Everything was well kept. They had many excursions but I was not able to do any. The have shows with dinner. All inclusive with everything.

Secrets Akumal: best all inclusive resort
One of the best all inclusive resorts I’ve ever stayed at. Went snorkeling one day and saw about 8 turtles and a stingray, the rest of the days we spent by the pool. We did not do any excursions or shows only because we were more intrigued by hanging out by the pool. Our favorite pool attendant, Luis, remembered our drink orders, cleaned our sunglasses, and went above and beyond to make our pool experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The wait staff was also incredible, most notably Jaime at the Market Cafe, who was always right there to assist me with my dining experience, and Erbert at Portofino who remembered our drink orders every night and ensured our meals were perfect. The only minor complaints are that the layout of the resort is kind of confusing with little help of maps, and our concierge did not help us much, but that was made up for by the incredible staff elsewhere within the resort. Would definitely recommend the experience.
