A very relaxing vacation at Sandos the last week in March. We liked that the resort is small, only 10 mins from the airport & nice atmosphere. Very clean property with a nice white beach. Our deluxe room was comfortable. We liked that it was non smoking but had designated smoking areas. The gym had great equipment and appreciated using it. It was very windy during our stay so we didn't swim much in the ocean. We spent some time at the pools which had bali beds. You had to reserve a spot very early in the am. Enjoyed the entertainment at the pool especially the sax player. Bar One had nice entertainment most evenings. Zango buffet restaurant had good food choices. Japanese cuisine was a highlight. Our favorite was St.Trops a la carte by the ocean. We have milk allergy and the staff were so attentive to us. A tip of the hat to Juan, Rosio, Rosalia who gave top notch service. We so appreciated Fausto our beach waiter & Freddie our pool waiter. The service was fantastic and we were impressed with how staff interacted with one another. Tip these hard working people!

Best vacation spot
Came with my mom for her birthday and we went to Seasons restaurant, it was amazing. Pedro the server was great at making our experience great, he helped us in making the right choice of food and Drinks. Can’t thank him enough! Hope to come back next year!

Delicious food
We went to the Italian restaurant a few times during our stay. The food was absolutely fabulous and our wait staff, Pedro was amazing. He was so friendly and accommodating. He is the absolute best! Our service was top notched ! 5 stars to Pedro and the restaurant!

I am not sure where all the high reviews were from. I can only assume they were paid to change their reviews. This hotel may look good in the lobby but that's where it ends. The 3 pools are horrible. There is no swim up bar or any real bar close to them. They had a cart next to the pool, and no one stationing it, then we went to the "closest bar" Bar Two which is out of the way and In an area that is completely dilapidated. The drinks were horrible. For entertainment they had water acrobatics, like literal water acrobatics and a guy with a bubble gun. This place feels like a bargain bin resort. Avoid it at all cost. We sunk 5 grand into this place and couldn't even eat at thr buffet, the selection was so bad. No salads, no meat, nothing. We had to order room service off the QR code and couldn't even sign in until we complained at the front desk. It's not the staffs fault they were great, and super friendly, it made me feel bad even talking about it because I'm not that person but this place was something else. 3 restaurants, good food, good service, no complaints there but the buffet is uneatbale. By day 2 I was looking for another resort. I've been to 8 resorts and this was by far the biggest mistake I ever made. There are hardly any chairs around the pool, the pool was dirty and the cabanas were so run down I barrly wanted to sit on their dirty old cushions. There are a ton of good reviews, saying this place is a party resort blah blah blah. It represented a retirement community when I was there in April 2025. I can't say this enough...do not go there. The more I read the reviews on here they have to be bots. Terrible terrible resort. Even the alcohol is horrible, tasted like dirty water. Please pay attention to this review and do not spend your hard earned money going here you will be thoroughly disappointed and starving.

Smaller resort but amazing
We are avid travelers, and this resort is smaller than others, but the staff was amazing. Diego and Franklin, bar one bartenders, were outstanding. Adan and Guarneros, beach bar service, were outstanding as well. Alex from entertainment staff made our vacation super fun guy, amazing and personal. as for the resort, the food is fantastic. The beds are soft. The bedding is duvets. The views are amazing. The only downfall would be the sun goes down around 4 PM because of the hotel next-door, but the staff here definitely make up for that. Thank you for the fantastic vacation. We had a blast and will definitely be back.!!
