May 07, 2025Not a great experience..
Our experience at the royalton was one that we will remember forever and not for the reasons you would think. From check in to check out we experienced nothing but negativity. (A check in that took 2.5 hrs of our vacation) The staff are some of the most miserable people we’ve encountered. The service is just not good whatsoever. The food was mid, and you can’t really eat at the restaurants because the app doesn’t work to make reservations. We ordered room service at 7pm and it never arrived. After calling to make sure they got the order. Not sure how the other resorts are in the area but will not return… Currently writing this as we walk a half mile to get outside the resort because Ubers can’t come on the property and there’s no shuttle?!? Absolutely ridiculous

May 05, 2025Te resort was beautiful, my butler was amazing and the concierge staff was great but the food was nasty
The resort itself is beautiful. We chose the option of Diamond club members which meant we got special check in and a butler! Our butler Antonio was the best part of our trip. I was assisting in planning a wedding and it was also my birthday weekend. Antonio was so helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable. First, he greeted us with a huge smile, very polite and professional. Tbh I was sorta bummed about my bday bcuz of the stress of travel but upon returning to our room, there was a bday surprise in my room. Antonio had a birthday banner on my door and a mini cake!!!! I was so excited and happy. Secondly, he texted us reminders and suggestions for Bfst, lunch and dinner. And even took the liberty of making us reservations for one of the restaurants that had the better food. Lastly, there were a few times where I forgot something he was more than happy to assist - steamed our dresses, dropped off something in my room and even helped me connect with the bride’s butler!!! Antonio was the best part of my stay. And made sure we were set for our departure. The only con of our trip was the food- it was not tasty at all. The eggs were runny, the buffet hardly ever had plates, the food had hardly any flavor. The best thing I had was bacon, Bfst sausage, a puff pastry, a burger from the nice restaurant and the pineapple juice. Like I said the only reason I’d return is for Antonio.

Antonio our butler was very attentive to our needs! He made our stay worth while. When we arrived our bags were lost and Antonio made sure we knew where to go to get all new things while we waited on our bags to be delivered. He was very prompt with getting us dinner reservations as well.

Our butler, Reinaldo, went above our expectations. I wasn't quite sure how this personal butler thing worked and we were there for my sister's 50th birthday. There were 13 of us and it's hard to get dinner reservations for a group that size. Especially at the Zen Restaurant. Reinaldo not only made this possible but he also got the birthday banner for her door and a personal cake after dinner before we left Zen. She was so surprised! The beach is absolutely beautiful, and you will be pleasantly running on "island time" and definitely relaxed!!

Good experience
The pool(s) and beach are very impressive. A lot of entertainment throughout the day and evening. There is legit enough for one to do and enjoy themselves. Romeo is as my designated butler, he was very thoughtful and accommodative to my needs. Proactive in making dinner reservations. A huge thanks to the pool and beach waiters and vibe team as well.
