The resort is in a beautiful location with several pools and restaurants. However, the resort is run down and dirty. Our room was filthy, bed was uncomfortable and the drawers all smelled like mold. The bed skirts had stains along with the tub and shower.

Feb 20, 2025Amazing family vacation at the Royalton Bavaro
We recently got back from a week stay at the Royalton Bavaro with our 4 children. This is our second time at this resort and it was amazing! We were in the Diamond Club and our butler, Adonis, really made our experience exceptional. He went above and beyond for us, making reservations at restaurants and for minigolf, decorating our room with balloons and a bubble bath, assisting us with any questions or concerns that arose and he also helped us the last day when our flight was delayed, facilitating our stay for another night. He was always available to help and regularly checked in, making sure that we were having a great time. My kids loved the diamond club pool and we also really enjoyed the lazy river and flow rider. There were also many activities throughout the day by the pool to keep the kids (and us) entertained. We are hoping to return to the Royalton Bavaro again soon and will definitely be requesting Adonis again! Thank you!

Royalton did not disappoint
From the moment we arrived at the Royalton Bavaro we were treated like family. We upgraded to the Diamond club on arrival and it was definitely worth it. Adonis, our butler, was incredible. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. From checking on us daily, to booking our reservations at the spa and restaurants…he even hand delivered towels to our room one afternoon when housekeeping accidentally forgot to leave some. Adonis greeted us with a beautiful smile every morning at the breakfast buffet and checked on us by the pool every afternoon. He was a gem and really elevated our experience. The diamond club pool bar has some of the best bartenders!! Santiago and Carlos made some of the best drinks. The passion fruit daiquiris were delicious. They were always joking and making us laugh. Surprisingly the seafood restaurant was my favourite. Samuel was a delight to have serve our table. Such an amazing young man. The staff at this resort work incredibly hard and with a smile always on their faces. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are very clean and the pools were nice. We ate at all the restaurants except Grazie. We enjoyed the food at all of them. The buffet had great food as well. The diamond club beach bar restaurant has a mean burger. Homemade delicious patties. Bavaro beach is absolutely breathtaking. My only complaint would be as paying for the diamond club upgrade, there should be access to the top shelf alcohol up at the lobby bars at night. The only place that this was available was at the diamond club lounge and pool bars. It is a very long walk from the main lobby area back to the diamond club lounge to get a premium drink.

Report has very nice grounds. Pools and beach were nice. Room were nice as well. Food was generally awful regardless of buffet or signature restaurants. Was also disappointed that after leaving early due to a family emergency that Royalton did not provide any refund for my final 2 days of booking despite giving them 48 hours notice I was leaving early.

William the best
The gym is very nice and overall the resort is great. All staff members are very nice and helpful. Also William is the goat. I had a very nice time and again the gym and William are amazing. William was very helpful and nice at the gym. Gym was good. William was good
