Apr 30, 2025Great vacation at the RIU Tequila!
We were a group of 33 from Canada. We all loved everything about this resort. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms lovely and clean, the food, excellent. The beach is a short walk through a beautiful pathway, or you can hop on the golf cart to the beach area. The swim up bar had the most amazing bar staff, man, they know their job. The security and life guards were attentive and on the ball. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked for April 2026!

Great vacations
The site was great! The staff were super friendly. The room was always well cleaned and cared. No waiting at the bars during the day. The food at the buffets was excellent. I recommend it.

All inclusive resort middle of the road. Nothing outstanding. Staff very friendly. Buffet average and four specialty restaurants. Asian one- buffet style, sashimi very thin, meats over cooked and dry, Indian style was just ok. Italian one- better than Asian. Steakhouse one-disappointing, medium rare rib-eye was ill prepared unevenly cooked no flavor we left entrees half eaten. No special desserts for each regional specialty restaurants. Pool amenities are abundant. Half mile walk under tree covered walkways to nice beach facilities. Overall satisfied but did not come away impressed. Your expectations should not be high for this resort.

Great 7 days
My wife, my daughter and myself, all really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and modern, and the food was very good quality. All the staff were friendly and professional whether it was the animation team or the waiters. The pools are all nice and the beach is lovely. I would happily return.

Excellent Holiday
Fantastic resort. Loved the tropical gardens set up. Lovely friendly staff. Excellent entertainment and great food. Short walk to a lovely beach. Rooms could do with a bit of an update but were comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend and return.
