Hotel and service are excellent, with the exception of elevators, the wait time for them was quite long (most of the time)

Perfect place to discover Madrid by foot
Perfect place to discover Madrid by foot, also the spectacular view from the 26th floor is a view you won’t forget. Breakfast was great

Great service = Great time
Excellent service at front desk, front door, housekeeping and at all three bars. Attractive rooms and halls which were well maintained.

Wonderful stay during the Christmas Season
The staff at the hotel went above and beyond in every way. We always enjoyed the welcome we received upon returning “home” each afternoon/evening. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever enjoyed. The hotel cannot control this, however the noise outside with horns honking and sirens blaring past midnight may be problematic for some.

One of the worst stays in Spain ever. Accommodation There was no air-con and our room was so hot - it felt like sleeping in a parked car in the sun. We had to open the window which meant the noise of traffic, honking and revellers shouting through the night. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable, the bedding scratchy and the pillows flat without any neck support. Room service We ordered room service, which was over-salted and greasy. It gave us indigestion and we were up all night. Facilities There was no mini bar and although we were assured there were complimentary water bottles in the room - we kept having to request this. One member of staff even snickers at us and told us to go to reception if we wanted to get water. There was no carpeting in the room or hotel corridors - instead it was this hard plastic-like material. So walking around felt quite icky (like walking on a public restroom. And the lack of carpeting contributed to the lack of sound insulation - so we could hear every hotel guest coming and going
