Dec 19, 2024Fantastically located on Martin Luther Strasse 1, with a 5 min walk to KaDeWe the 2nd largest department store in Europe
It is fantastically located on Martin Luther Strasse 1, a 5-minute walk to KaDeWe, the second largest department store in Europe. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted but slightly disappointed that by the time we had dropped our luggage off in the room that we had, we missed the bar by about 10 minutes. The room was large, clean and tidy, along with a large clean bathroom. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of choices to suit everyone's breakfast needs. Overall a very pleasant stay apart from the scaffolding outside which we never saw anyone working on and unfortunately it did obscure our view out of the windows. It would have been nice to have been warned before arrival and an apology from the reception team would have been good.

Wonderful winter break Berlin Riu Plaza
Visited Riu Plaza Berlin from 6th to 9th December. Was a bit worried before visiting as the price just seemed too good. I needn’t have worried, everything was perfect. Great hotel, great location and wow wit great value

Dec 14, 2024Fully deserves its 4 stars. Could improve facilities, but otherwise a great hotel.
Check-in, smoorth, efficient and reasonably quick. We were a group of 27! Rooms spacious (I had a superior room), beds comfortable, bathroom excellent but could do with shower mats, as the shower floor is VERY slippery. Breakfast...as good as it gets, really. Location - just 200m from KaDeWe and 150m from Underground. Close to bus routes, too.

A fantastic property!
Huge fan of Riu, I recently stayed at the RIU Berlin and was not disappointed. As an agent for TUI uk I know the bad from the good, and I can honestly say RIU never fails to disappoint me and the RIU Berlin was no exception. Rooms were spotless and a really good size too, location was great and I still stand that RIU staff are some of the best, always super friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year. I will continue to frequent RIU properties based on the high standards offered. I give the RIU Berlin 10/10!
