This resort is nice, with 4 different places to eat and a great variety of options. There are activities for people of all ages and 3 different pools to relax in. We had an ocean view room, with views of the ocean through the palm trees. The room stayed cool during the day when it was so hot outside and cleaning service was very thorough! They have to be with all the sand from the beaches! Overall the stay was enjoyable with lots to do in a close distance from the resort.

Apr 30, 2025Dream Vacation at Riu Playacar – Once Again!
We just returned from another amazing two-week stay at Riu Playacar in Mexico, and we couldn't be happier. Before our trip, we contacted the hotel to kindly request a nice room, and they truly delivered – we got a beautiful room in a perfect location, just as we had hoped! Everything about the stay was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the food and drinks were delicious and varied, and the atmosphere was lively with activities going on around the clock – yet always with the option to relax in peace if you preferred. This was our second time at Riu Playacar, and we chose to return because of how wonderful our first experience was. This time was just as great, if not better. It truly feels like a little slice of paradise – clean, safe, and full of positive energy. We’re already talking about coming back again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for great service, stunning surroundings, and a worry-free vacation.

Estadia Riu Playacar 4 al 16 abril
Todo lo concerniente al Hotel, de gran calidad instalaciones, destacable amabilidad de todo el personal, comidas buenas tal vez falto más variedad. El aspecto negativo el traslado que ofrece el Hotel con otra compañía, el día que llegamos nos trasladaron en un vehículo antiguo sin aire acondicionado y el día que nos retiramos nos citaron a las 21:00 y no llegaron, esperamos 40 minutos y nos fuimos en taxi al aeropuerto. Realice el reclamo y estoy esperando que me reembolsen el valor cancelado. Salvo los traslados lo demás recomendable y volveré en un futuro.

Muy bonito, limpio y personal amable
Un hotel bonito, limpio, su personal amable. El area tranquila y segura. Solo deberían incluir en la descripción que no hay elevador.
