    Riu Paradise

Resort in Jamaica was great. People friendly, food delicious and the beach was especially fantastic. events were organized to have fun. The drive getting there was a bit longer than would have liked but so be it. we would be interested in trying other RIU resorts as we have heard good things.

    IT WAS FABULOUS!

This was our 3rd year at the resort. It was beautiful! The resort is very clean and there are many people working to keep it that wa. Check-in was very smooth and cheerful. Our luggage was taken to our room which was an ocean-view room in building 4. The room was always kept very clean and the fridge was always well stocked. The buffet at breakfast was excellent. Our servers, Verna, IShema and Denise were outstanding. Lunch was good with many choices. Dinner in the buffet was filled with many options. The fresh fruit was the best. The desserts were too many to chose from, but whatever your choice was , you could not go wrong. The specialty restraunts were also a good option. The servers at the beach always looked after you. Gregory, Mike, Andre and Richard are the best. At the pool bar, Andrew is alot of fun! He makes the pool bar a fun place to meet friends. We will be going back next year for our 4th time and will probably stay longer!

    Repeat guests

As repeat guest s from Canada, this was our eighth trip to the Riu Palace tropical Bay. No surprises, the resort is approximately an hour and a half drive from Montego Bay Airport. We go to this resort because of the beach. I would definitely say this is not a pool resort, but more a beach resort The resort was renovated in 2018/19 but now it’s starting to show its age again and needs a little more tender, loving care. The food is very basic, but their buffet exceeds our expectation and we enjoy it immensely during our 10 day stay we ate at the steakhouse which was adequate, and the Italian restaurant which again exceeded our expectations. My only complaint would be the vendors on the beach who are relentless and have gotten to the point now where they come up to where our chairs are to continuously pester us. Other than that no major complaints. Their service is always on a superior level. Their employees are one of the reason we go back all the time.

    Great Vacation

Everyone on staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Food was fantastic and room was very clean. My sisters and myself are all over 60 and had adjoining rooms, only problem was that there wasn’t an elevator and it was very humid outside.

    A little "Peace" of paradise

This was a first "RIU" experience after many other Spanish run resort stays. The food was phenomenal, the beach was meticulous and their were ample places to sit. We were very please with our stay. We met many guests who return to Riu Tropical Bay Negril more than once a year.
