I spent in Mexico Palace Hotel very nice holidays. Very kind and supporting staff, good organization and extremly professional care about rooms. Location is amazing, long and wide beach, palms, service with drinks and reasturants close to it. We had nice evenings both in the hotel as well as in the Playa del Carmen city. Lots of opportunities for trpis to learn about the culture and history but also to see the nature. There is the only one week point. Some of the rooms should be renovated as we heard negative opinions but I hope the owner will invest and manage it soon. I would recommend to everyone this hotel and at least 10 days of vacations in March.

Good for family vaca
Clean and well run, very friendly staff, very easy to settle in and relax. First time at all inclusive and it was great for parents with teens.

Wonderful resort
We have previously stayed at the Tequilla and Lupita also in Playacar. The hotel is immaculate, very grand with grounds that are maintained to a very high standard. The staff here work incredibly hard to keep all areas spotless. Check in was extremely fast and fuss free - I think Ulysses was the member of staff that attended to us, he was extremely efficient. Our room was spacious and although the rooms could all do with some updates it was perfectly adequate. I like the layout of this resort, it’s simple! The beach is stunning…we didn’t go in any of the pools but they looked lovely. The buffets were very very good, the best all inclusive buffets we have experienced. Restaurant wise we ate at the Asian which was good but had a very small menu, and the steakhouse…..crab cakes were soft and not like the pictures on the menu but the surf and turf was good. We revisited and I had New York strip steak - it was so fatty, I had to cut off nearly a third of the steak! For this reason we chose the buffet for the rest of the trip and were quite happy with that. The BBQ on the beach is really good. The coffee shop is fantastic, with some lovely snacks and cakes. There is a 24hr lounge with good coffee, a fridge full of alcohol and water, beer on tap and soft drinks. There is a constant supply of hot food too, from burgers to chicken nuggets, breakfast options and desserts. The gym is small but has enough for a holiday workout. Walking distance from playa del Carmen and the Playacar plaza shops. This was our favouri resort in Mexico (we’ve been 7 times) we will be back!

From the moment we arrived at RIU Palace Mexico, we were impressed. The staff's genuine smiles and hospitality made us feel so welcome. We were also amazed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The resort grounds are gorgeous and immaculately maintained. The pool and beach areas were pristine and beautiful. The service was impeccable. All the bartenders and servers were excellent. The resort has a diverse range of dining options, from authentic Mexican cuisine to Asian Fusion. The buffets offered at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was all amazing. The all-inclusive aspect meant we could indulge without a second thought. We really enjoyed all the activities provided at the pool, like water fitness classes, the foam party, dance party, cocktail class, BINGO, Belly Flop contest and more. The staff ensure there is never a dull moment. The evening entertainment was also a highlight. Shout out to Alex, Jessie, Eric, Pamela, Paola, Danny, Gustavo, Emiliano, and the other RIU staff. They made our stay extra special. If you're looking for an unforgettable all-inclusive experience, look no further than RIU Palace Mexico. We can't wait to return!

BEYOND amazing!!!!
I can’t even explain how happy I am with my trip to Riu Palace in Playa Del Carmen, let alone my first trip to Mexico. This resort is perfect for people of all ages. The food is excellent at the buffets and the drinks are great too for being an all inclusive. The rooms were comfortable and room service was always on top of getting us what we needed. I have to say my favorite part about the trip was the unbelievably amazing staff. I am not sure how much they are making, but whatever it is should be way more! The staff was not only extremely kind, but also helpful and hilarious! The entertainment staff and bartenders constantly went above and beyond; even on the hottest days. Special shoutout to one of the bartenders, Mario. He was always on top of it! Special shoutout to the entertainment staff, specifically Pamela, Gustavo, Diana, Erik, and Danny. Those 5 staff members are irreplaceable. They are the reason we will be returning. Thank you Riu Palace for an amazing time!
