    April 2025 Stay

    This was our first time staying at a Riu resort and this property was perfect for us. We chose the adults only and found it was a perfect mix of age groups. The service was amazing, every employee was attentive and so friendly. The pool areas were clean, fun and service was superb. The only suggestion would be that the room service would offer more options with a better quality of snacks/food.

    EXCELLENT STAY!!!!

    I love everything about this place. The water. The pools. The parties. The ocean. The rooms. The food at all the eateries was fantastic it’s like 4 different places to eat and the drinks are truly unlimited through out the day and night. You even have liquor and beer in your room!!! I will for sure be back oh and I almost forgot about the live shows it’s something different every night

    Disappointing arrival at Baja Riu adults only.

    Trip from Cali and family from the UK celebrating an anniversary. Booked the elite club - On arrival there was an hour delay as they tried to work out some technical error with our booking. Front desk doing their best, but after traveling since 3am we just wanted to dump our bags and go relax…. One room was ready but the other one not ready until 3pm which wasn’t ideal. Asked for a quiet room on a high floors but gave us one of the 3rd facing the theatre (not sure how that’s going to pan out) and one on the 1st floor?! Elite club sun beds and pool the opposite end of the resort to our rooms which isn’t ideal but they have commented maybe we can switch tomorrow, so fingers crossed. Family spoke the manager asking if they could hurry up with the room but they seemed uninterested which is disappointing. Not sure how we feel about this yet as first impressions are not great. On a positive note. Buffet lunch was nice, lots of options. Hopefully this isn’t the only positive for our trip! Resort is a 4 star at best.

    Not 5 star, just arrived and not impressed so far.

    Just arrived, NOT impressed so far! We arrived a few hours ago and booked 2 rooms in the Elite Club, took an hour to check in, only one of the rooms ready, none of our requests were taken into consideration. This is not 5 star, I spoke to the Manager he was no help.

    A Great Time Was Had!

    Love the atmosphere and the vibe of the resort. The pools, workout room and overall space was clean and tidy. 24 hour room service really won me over. There for a birthday celebration after spring Break, late March.
