    Great Hotel!!

    We loved our stay at Riu Aquarelle. The staff always made sure that we were taken care of at all times. This is the first hotel that we looked forward to the shows every night. Definitely Coming Back!!

    Great Resort

    We stayed November 2024. The resort is new, the rooms are beautiful, the food is delicious. Ice and Laxan are top of the most WONDERFUL!!! They helped us get reservations for our Anniversary and my husband's birthday. Ice and Laxan are always helping guest to feel welcome. Beautiful beach, entertainment was great! From check in to check out everything was EXCELLENT!!!

    Paradise

    Great hotel Great service from everyone Great food Bring water shoes Good sports bar Rooms are very spacious and done right Fantastic drinks hot and cold Layout could be better where elevators are located A La carts were great except we didn’t care for the Italian Buffet was good as well

    RIU Aquarelle long weekend

    This resort really catered to everyone- a quieter side of the pool, quiet side of the beach or party all day! The food in the buffet was good, lots of options, flow was a bit odd and got crowded fast, Steak house was good. We had an amazing Bartender Akeeina! She was amazing and made the best drinks! Another great bartender was Su Wayne who remembers every drink he has ever seen! He can make anything! The staff is excellent and easy to talk to, always willing to chat while they work! Shandale the life guard and Reid the security guard were so friendly! Our ocean view room was beautiful but we had 2 twin beds because they ran out of king beds, and I know we are on vacation but the WiFi is terrible, hard to play the games on the resort entertainment like bingo and kahoot. My husband and I enjoyed our stay overall and will be back!

    Great stay!

    Not too far from airport. The food was better than I expected! Loved the steakhouse and Asian fusion restaurants especially. Was not crazy about the Italian one as I am from an area where Italian good is excellent. Loved the fact that you could find a quieter part of the beach and also a quieter pool with swim up bar. As the other pool with bar did get a bit loud and packed. We did walk on the beach off the resort but I wouldn’t advise that alone as it can be sketchy. We did not leave the resort for anything. Service was great! The staff on the beach were quick and drinks were awesome! Did not love that you had to upgrade for a king bed as the two double beds did not fit one couple comfortably but we were ok sleeping in our own beds. Fridge was always stocked and loved the mini bar! Also loved that the shower and toilet were in separate rooms. We had an 8th floor with balcony and ocean view which was amazing! Would stay again for sure!
