I went for work, so I didn’t get to enjoy the amenities as much as I wanted to. However, what I could partake in was awesome. Front desk staff, Rihanna in the buffet area and the staff overall were warm and pleasant. I’d visit again.

Awesome place to visit with a few easily fixable problems.
We just returned yesterday and had an awesome time. Pros: A beautiful resort with great workers that take the time to see to your needs. We tried two of the specialty restaurants and found them to be so-so. Not worthy of wasting your time trying to get a reservation. Food at the buffet changed often and was some of the best buffets we've ever experienced in our many travels. Don't understand how anyone could find fault with the quality, and many food choices. After being there a week we were never bored with the buffets and it's many choices. Service was awesome throughout the hotel. No sooner than when your plate or cup is empty it's removed from the table and drinks refilled as needed. Drink waitresses and waiters were always on the ball. You won't go a but 5 minutes without being asked if you don't have a drink in front of you. Awesome service! You can tell the employees truly want you to be happy and to have a good time. Kids program was sensational. You can tell the employees like teaching and watching kids. Pools were clean and roomy. Kids were kept out of the adult pools by the life guards the moment they entered. A big high five to employees for enforcing this rule. Rooms were kept clean and stocked with drinks daily. Evenings the maid came around before bed time to make sure we had everything we needed. The Wi-fi worked great. The entertainment was some of the best we've seen at an all inclusive. Kid shows involved the kids. Pool shows and contests were also very entertaining. No need to leave the property as there was always something to keep you busy! The easily fixable problems... The TV's are a horrible nuisance. For some reason both of the rooms we had both TV's just refused to shut off! It was common to have to shut the TV off two or three times before it would stay off! Bear in mind that the TV automatically comes on when your key is inserted in the rooms power slot so you have to try to shut the TV off every time you come into the room! Trying to navigate the TV's menu is horrible. By the end of the week the TV was close to being thrown out the window it was that annoying! Noise: On the first night we had room 760 (seventh floor facing the pool) and the noise from the late night shows prevented us from sleeping after our long trip. 1 AM parties with loud booming base was just too much to handle. Much of that noise continued during the day. On the second day I headed to the front desk and requested to be moved across the hall. Once we switched our room to the other side of the hotel (10th floor, 1087) the noise level went away and we had a better view of the ocean. If you're on the fence on going to this hotel, GO FOR IT! You won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be returning! Thanks to all RIU Aquarelle employees for a job well done!

We stayed at aquarelle for a week in February 2025. Food was good. Buffet was good. Drinks were decent. We really have no complaints except rocks in the water at beach. Everyone was great from front desk to waiters,bartenders. Room was clean and spacious( ocean front suit) service was good when adked for extras they were reasonably prompt. I would stay here again! Yeah Mon.

Great all inclusive experience
When you go on an all inclusive trip, you have to expect that the food isn’t phenomenal and there’s some messiness because guests drink and get crazy. However, the specialty restaurants are reallllly good. A little hard to get a reservation but we just showed up and they got us in within 2 minutes. The pools were busy with music and entertainment and the adults pool had fun bartenders and good vibes. The bartenders knew your order and talked to you about personal stuff. We even won a room upgrade during a raffle! Our room was very nice, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Tons of water, drink options, and alcohol options in the room. The staff at every place was friendly, happy, and talkative. There was entertainment every night and it was busy, fun, and the staff put their all into the performances. I’ve really never been to a resort where I had no complaints so I would definitely recommend this place for the price and experience!
