Facility, food and night time entertainment were excellent. However security is needed on the beach during the evenings to reduce peddlers selling narcotics

I went to riu ochi rios to celebrate my daughter birthday, however the customer we I received from the front desk agent was horrible, the agent name is jheanille. She had no empathy to my situation and there was no emotional response, the agent attitude was disgusting. She even made me cry because of how horrible the encounter was with her, we had decided never to book another riu hotel. But GOD sent Breana I met her when I collect the room key and her friendly energy and vibrant spirit captivate me, her customer was top tier!!!! She have an amazing personality. She gave me hope of booking into another riu hotel.

She even made my sister cry because of how horrible the encounter was with her, we had decided never to book another riu hotel. My first visit to Riu Hotel
My fiancé booked this trip for me to celebrate my birthday for the weekend. The wide variety of food was definitely appreciated, loved the fact that there was something for everyone down to the little ones. Since it was my first time, i think i was a bit slow for the person that made the omelette when she asked what did i want in it. I feel like she could have been kinder to me in that regard so she skipped me and went to the next person but outside of that it was a beautiful stay. Definitely would go back

Son’s Birthday Trip
We originally booked for one week for my son’s 5th birthday. When we arrived, the first person we interacted with was Ashaney , our bellhop. He is friendly and very welcoming. He talked with our son like he has known him for years and played with his dinosaur toy which really made my son happy. The food was great at the main dinning room but what made the dinning experience even better was our server Shannon. We met her at dinner on our second night and every night after that, we sat in her section because of how GREAT she was. Shannon is kind, friendly, she remembered our drink order every night without is even asking. My son was excited to see her every night and hugged her once we were leaving. The night of my son’s birth day, she decorated his table with balloons, her and the other staff members sang happy birthday and gave him a cake which made him extremely happy!! She is the example of who a waitress should be. She represents the Riu brand! The Bar Supervisor, Desroy, is another example of the kind of representative that fits the Riu brand. Destroy and my husband had the best connection. Whenever we went to the sports bar, as soon as he saw us entering, we would have our drink ready by the time we sat down. He is an excellent person, kind to every guest that we saw him encountered. Many nights we were in the sports bar and he supported his staff when they were under pressure from the large crowd. Alessia, Front desk was very nice and friendly. Thank you for helping us extend another day! Patrace was our Breakfast waitress for most of the time and she is amazing! Wayne is another bartender who is amazing and we thank you as well. Overall, thank you to the Riu staff. We will be back next year.
